&lt;p>This one's been a big one! I've focused on polishing the feel of the game, adding more content and squashing some nasty performance issues.&lt;/p>
&lt;h2>NEW: Two New Areas + Unique Organisms&lt;/h2>
&lt;ul>
&lt;li>&lt;strong>Two New Areas:&lt;/strong> I've added two new areas to the demo&lt;/li>
&lt;li>&lt;strong>Three Unique Organisms:&lt;/strong> Introduced gradually over the course of the five areas, giving you new things to encounter as you progress (previously the coloured egg variants) - these variants will have unique abilities to unlock in the full game&lt;/li>
&lt;li>&lt;strong>Locked-for-Demo Skill Nodes:&lt;/strong> Added locked skill tree nodes to give you a small taste of what's coming in the full game&lt;/li>

&lt;p>I finally got some time to give the game a full visual pass and I'm really happy with how it's looking now!&lt;/p>

&lt;li>&lt;strong>CRT Filter:&lt;/strong> Added a CRT post-processing filter to give the game a distinct visual identity&lt;/li>
&lt;li>&lt;strong>UI Post-Processing:&lt;/strong> Finally figured out camera stacking and got post-processing on UI&lt;/li>
&lt;li>&lt;strong>Egg Destruction VFX:&lt;/strong> You can now see visual effects when an egg is destroyed - much more satisfying&lt;/li>
&lt;li>&lt;strong>Fuel Factory VFX:&lt;/strong> Added visual effects to the fuel factory showing the fuel cell being produced&lt;/li>
&lt;li>&lt;strong>Beam Polish:&lt;/strong> Polished the harvesting beam so it looks and feels better&lt;/li>
&lt;li>&lt;strong>Floating Damage Text:&lt;/strong> Improved the clarity of floating damage text so it's easier to read&lt;/li>
&lt;li>&lt;strong>Custom Cursors:&lt;/strong> Added custom cursors for both the general UI cursor and the harvesting cursor&lt;/li>

&lt;li>&lt;strong>Resource Hover Info:&lt;/strong> Added hover-over info to resources so you can see what they do at a glance&lt;/li>
&lt;li>&lt;strong>Fuel Factory Upgrade Clarity:&lt;/strong> Improved the clarity and readability of the fuel factory upgrade area&lt;/li>
&lt;li>&lt;strong>Fuel Factory Unlock Notification:&lt;/strong> Added clear notifications for when you first unlock the fuel factory&lt;/li>

Hope you think so too :)&lt;/p>
&lt;p>I recommend starting a new game with this update as i’ve introduced entirely new systems so not sure how the old save will hold up!&lt;/p>
&lt;h2>NEW : Fuel Factory + New Resource Added&lt;/h2>
&lt;p>The biggest addition this update is the brand-new Fuel Factory! It’s an entirely new progression system and panel to give you more to do alongside the satisfying harvesting loop. My aim for this was to break the monotony of the main game loop based off players feedback - I think it greatly improved the experience and makes for a more well rounded experience&lt;/p>
&lt;h3>What’s Included&lt;/h3>
&lt;ul>
&lt;li>&lt;strong>Orbs and Spores to Fuel:&lt;/strong> You can now deposit your resources directly into the factory which converts them to Fuel Cells, a 3rd resource&lt;/li>
&lt;li>&lt;strong>Offline Production:&lt;/strong> Your factory keeps working even when you aren't! The system simulates production while you're offline or away - so if you want to deposit a load and step out, it’ll continue running even if you quit the game (note: the auto deposit feature will not kick in offline)&lt;/li>
&lt;li>&lt;strong>Upgrades:&lt;/strong> I’ve added more upgrades in the skill tree that link to the factory. You can upgrade your factory’s efficiency in the factory itself too.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>&lt;strong>New UI:&lt;/strong> Added a dedicated Fuel Factory panel that displays the progress of current conversion time, and shows other useful stats on the factory&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Areas are now unlocked by spending Fuel Cells&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;h2>Balancing&lt;/h2>
&lt;ul>
&lt;li>Egg variants Gold and Diamond are now locked behind area 2 and 3, giving you something to look forward to when you unlock them&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Certain upgrades are now area gated as well, improving the overall flow&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;h2>NEW Tutorial System (First Time User)&lt;/h2>
&lt;p>Added some lightweight tutorial pop-ups to notify the payer of key moments like when you buy your first upgrade, unlock the factory and enter the 2nd area&lt;/p>
&lt;h2>UI &amp;amp; Quality of Life&lt;/h2>
&lt;ul>
&lt;li>Implemented a save file check and a warning pop up to tell the player if they are playing an outdated build&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Toned down the screen effects on the gain orb and spores event, it was a bit much overtime&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Changed the time spent harvesting in demo completed panel to reflect actual world time spent rather than just in game scene (harvesting)&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Also added the new resource into the completed panel stats&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;h2>Bug Fixes&lt;/h2>
&lt;ul>
&lt;li>I cleared up some skill tree upgrade descriptions and effect value text as they weren’t all making sense&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The passive beam max count should now kick in when you buy the upgrade&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Fixed the button notification breath animation resetting every time the inventory updated&lt;/li>

&lt;li>ESC flow improved: pauses the game, opens settings, and closes all open windows&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Screen effects (camera shake etc) setting now persists when switching scenes (thanks Idle Cub for pointing this out! &amp;lt;3)&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Shockwave trigger SFX improved (beefier and more satisfying)&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Added upgrades shortcut key: U&lt;/li>
