sort: go backvery cool strategy game
I almost got 2 million bros
## Feedback
- The game is a bit too luck-based for my liking.
- I see that you created the game in that way to remove winning strategies.
- However, I do feel that you added too much luck so that this is now a game of chance.
- However, the mechanics are very satisfying to use.
- Maybe you could add a scanner function that takes a percentage of your money or health to tell you the state of the next cell.
- Maybe you don't want to. That's ok.
- Either way, this is a very good game. Very unique!
First off, this is not an incremental (and definitely not idle) game. I know galaxy.click is being more lenient, but for those looking for incremental this isn't it - there is no progression or growth of any sort in the game.
Outside of that, interesting design, but has a few issues.
- UI/UX is confusing. Having buttons to push instead of requiring keys would help. Using colors (and patterns for color blind) would be easier I think than numbers.
- Would be helpful to use clearer words.
- "Deduction" is confusing, especially here where you're trying to "deduce" where the mine is. Consider something more like: HP to move
- "Complexity" also makes no sense. Just call it "single numbers" or something like that.
I only played one time through so I can't comment on the deeper strategy. But overall it feels like there are a few elements that add unneeded complexity and detract from the core design goal.
developer response: Yep, this is even tagged as non-incremental. The description also does not position it as an incremental.
Good idea about the keys. I wanted to keep it really minimal, you can click on the block themselves to move and on the numbers to collect.
The "Deduction" and "Complexity" is by design. In some games I love their own special terms that sound cryptic to the uninitiated. In fact, this whole game would be very cryptic unless you read the rules, because the amount of details is huge.
So, it's a matter of taste.
@louigiverona - Ah, I didn't realize there was a non-incremental tag, thanks for pointing that out. And fair enough! Was just sharing my feedback. :)
I made it to 7.2 million
i cant even reach 40k how did you reach 7.2 million
i got 102475
This is a great time-killer and even though it was a bit hard for me to understand at first I've really come to appreciate the mechanics. Good work!
This game is impossible; this is just Sol's RNG and minesweeper 1d edition
i got screwed by the luck. the second one was a mine every single time so i took a hit everytime. still a good game thou.
this looked like incremental game when i first opened it
