comments for Milky Way Idle
sort: go backIt's like runescape but an idle game
Guys stop bashing this saying its a Melvor idle clone. You know what else is similar the cosmic tidal wave of prestige tree games.
They put a lot of effort and care into this and made it, its own unique thing. also those in app purchases are small things theres no real P2W, check the conversion rates yourself if you dont believe me. there minimal and inconsequential.
they made a fun game inspired by Runescape with fun mechanics the goal isn't to watch absurd numbers increase or prestige countless times its to work towards those small grinding goals and enjoy working with other players and chatting while you enjoy the game and showoff.
i hate the fact that when i go to comment section to see if this game is good or not i see more comparing to other games besides actual important comments ?:(
A cool start, though I think the game flow is a bit unbalanced currently. A lot of resources have niche uses, combat doesn't seem to reward anything useful for the first few hours of gameplay, and enhancing (and money by extension, which seems to only be usable here) is too expensive and risky for how little it rewards.
Geniune question from a long time player of the latter, are there any major differences between this and melvor? Besides in app purchases and a marketplace/chat?
developer response: The main difference is that it's multiplayer. currently such features are limited to market, chat, leaderboard. There will be more social and community features added in the near future. As for other parts of the game, while the overall mechanics can feel similar to melvor, there are parts that are fairly different, including combat and the enhancing skill. Both games have strong inspirations from runescape and is designed to be idle, so it's not surprising to feel very similar. Personally I think the community aspect is a big bonus and main selling point, but people may have different preferences on multiplayer.
