Game is amazing! And luckily I found a very optimal tree after S2 pretty quickly. Try and figure it out yourself first, but if you truly give up, here's what i did:
So, I was at doing the mining game and doing the texts about elaine and when I went back to my GHZ thing it had all reset. My upgrades all of it I was earning a half a mil every couple seconds. Is this intended?

Okay, seems I was just misremembering, I thought the 2x CPU upgrade starts at 1k rather than 10k, mb >.<
I am rather enjoying it so far, only on the second SPU reset so far, but I'm eager to see what you've done with it all!
developer response: Actually my bad for making you look dumb, it's an oversight. The cost is 1k at first but is corrected to 10k after the reset. Thanks for commenting on this
So, the generator randomly reset all of it's progress for no reason. I have elain's files unlocked still, but I don't feel like doing the entire buying all the stuff for hours again. It literally took away all my cpu for no reason, and reset it all.
So the game is claiming I did an SPU reset. I did no such thing, as I haven't even reached SPU yet. That's why my stuff is all reset, it did a spu reset for no reason and i didn't even get an spu out of it.
You might want to change mystery.txt to not look like valid base64, I was trying to copy it out a few times, got frustrated that you can't copy it to the clipboard, manually typed it out, then discovered it wasn't even valid base64, despite looking like it!
Also, the simplecipher program won't accept "mystery.txt", you have to only tell it "mystery", which is another minor-ish thing that was still frustrating
you can press c or s when you wouldn't gain anything from it and it resets, there's no reason i can see to reset with no gains so that probably should be disabled (mostly i see the potential to accidentally press S during a run and just lose your progress for no gain)

Do you think anyone can tell me how to get the final star, I think it is in calculator because it has gold particles coming off of it.

after SI3 (the star one) every number in my game glitched out and I can't progress. Idk if this is intended and i'm just missing something or what.
developer response: What do you mean with glitched? Are they NaN? Either restarting will fix this or export and send me your save and I'll try to fix it

every number showed NaNe and I fixed it by fidgeting with SI3. I'm not sure what caused it though or even how I fixed it sorry.
Pretty great game! I like the idea of the challenges introducing new twists to the game instead of being just plain nerfs. I wasn't too interested in the story part but it was still a welcome addition. Wish there was passive CPU generation but other than that, the gameplay was really nice.
