Also, I highly recommend everyone who plays this game learn the hotkeys asap (scroll down in settings), especially M for max all and the arrow keys to move between tabs/spices. It's also worth noting that the max all key doesn't work on your most recently acquired spice until your first full prestige. You can just hold down M and an arrow key and it'll give you a seizure, but it works!

good to see spice idle on galaxy finally. played this a long time ago and i am ready to play it again
so... am I doing something wrong, or is ascension speed half the time quite glacial? Like, once I start nearing the next important upgrade my pace just slows to a crawl and I need 6+ hours of idleness, if not more, to slowly crawl towards what I need
developer response: sounds like you don't have enough ascensions, which is usually the issue when progress through ascension slows down this much
the "rainbow spice boost based on times ascended" upgrade scales a lot more than you'd expect
Being able to see how much rainbow spice I will get from prestige while on the 2nd and 3rd prestige sub-tab would be nice. I have all the automators and would like to see the number without having to switch tabs.
+1 on missing the old compendium. It really gave the game a lot of character that others of the genre often lack, and I was legitimately disappointed to see it gone. I was actually hoping it would be even more detailed / fun when I saw it mentioned in the changelog lol. That being said, loving the rest of the update! A lot of great changes, especially regarding ascension. Thanks!

Anyone who is struggling to progress in the Ascension stage: You need to boost the shit out of the "Times Ascended stat boosts rainbow spice gains" upgrade by setting your auto-Ascend to Time mode and setting the time as low as possible. I went from getting 1e9 Runes per ascension to 1e14 Runes per ascension after letting it run like this for a few hours.
scrolling is the devil's work from a usability perspective; please consider this. at least even dropping the scrolling to a scrolling div that doesn't make the header/inventory disappear.

I'm grinding out rainbow spice, and I can't help but feel like ascension is really really far away
Just started it (Spice galaxy) and seems like a fun game, but so far its pretty slow paced, not much to do other than wait to unlock the next generator which has a decent-ish jump in price
developer response: for reference, reaching the first major prestige layer should take roughly 2-3 hours to do
"Color boosts don't reset progress" should be like the 3rd rainbow spice upgrade :(
This last update made it so that you can't hold "B" and "M" simultaneously. :(

Yeah ascension progress becomes painfully slow past the ascension automation upgrade, especially given the tab has to be pulled up for it to work or else the entire game pauses
the spice must flow
