Ty for update, I can actually finish Ascension now, I had let it run for a while overnight and was disparaged until the update lol
stuck around 5 completions of challenge 12. 115 total collapse completions. Not making enough spice to get any meaningful antis, and the next research 4 is 3 days away. Any tips, Dev?

locking progress behind prestige/ascend/collapse/(and probably expansion, but i only just unlocked it) is kind of annoying, like i get its an idle game but i did the math and realized i needed 19 hours of just spamming collapse/ascend as fast as i could to unlock expansion, that's just boring, but the alternative (save editing to get the required amount) is also boring, no real feeling of actual progression either way, once you have enough, it's just a breeze to the finish

I don't know why, but the game keeps loading very short amount of offline progress although I keep focus on the game screen. This bothers me a lot.
developer response: seems like there's a memory leak issue to do with hacktimer.
i'm still searching for a possible solution, and just patching hacktimer back out means no more true background progress
@jeb The offline numbers are much lower, only if you do the things mentioned, but the warning is serious.
For time-based automation at 10x speed, I'm seeing a ^0.4 to ^0.9 reduction to the numbers, which you can treat as 0% efficiency.
For goal-based automation, it's 10x fewer resets, which works out to 10% efficiency.
Later in the game you will need to farm resets. I don't know how this part is affected by offline speed.

some idea to make early ascension suck less: make rune power give a small multiplier to rune gain, could even be logarithmic or something
buying seems to take way more than its cost, is this a bug?

It seems like progress really comes to a halt around|| 1e16 galactic shards, got to the best planet I can find (176 units out) and grinded some "Times Expanded" but it feels like it takes forever now to get any upgrade.||

developer response: yes, the joke triggers based on system time, just like exp sim
i'd be careful changing your system time to see it, because it'll mess with offline progress
