sort: go backwhy do i need a particle accelerator when my trains are already particle accelerators
the ascii is great and the loop is simple but fun... im excited to see what the future holds for this game
Shurry, I think you forgot to mention trains.
5/5 stars bruh!
Why?
Trains, loops, trains, loops, and did I mention !!! Like what more could one ask for?
Oh? our wonderful DEVELOPER used futuresight and dealt a critical blow!
WOO HOO!!!!!
Now...
All excitement aside, I do have some ideas on the screen layout. Right now there are two places that: Current funds & Funds/s are displayed. Might be a good idea to pick one, to get rid of the redundancy. I'd pick keeping the graph display.
That's all from me.
pretty good game!
takes like 10ish mins to complete (do wish there was more after reaching space but i understand that its a prototype)
10/10 i like trains
there is actually good sound once the train speed is hight along with the amount of trins or stations it creates a beat
pretty good so far for a game that takes ~10 minutes would love to see the future elements and gameplay :)
10/10, will be hearing the train noise in my sleep forever now
2min 39s with autoclicker LOL
short and sweet, was fun for a while to make music and patterns that actually sounded nice, tad shame eventually it just messes up and requires the mute button
I would have the money up top and the cost go scientific at the same time for clarity.
10/10 game otherwise
game doesnt work no more
This is great, 5/5, but it progresses way too fast! There isn't even a moment for me to read what the next button does before the next one pops up, then 10 minutes later the game is done. :( Me want watch T go circle more.
i feel like post-jam this has potential to be great. Although, it felt too easy. Maybe for a reset layer you can randomize buffs or debuffs, e.g. different planets have different effects?
developer response: I have some plans. Different planets is on the list!
The game is pretty fun but also a bit short. I'd love to see what comes of it.
very ready for space this was amazing
You definitely need to experience this game with sound on. It starts out as a cool generative soundscape and then devolves into what I assume it sounds like when you go insane. 10/10, would freak out again. (Seriously though, really cool all around, great job!)
I think you're definitely onto something here. This is very satisfying to play.
If you decide to develop this further, I'll be first in line for at ticket.
first minute impression: $/s statistic shouldn't be so variable when i haven't made purchases in a while, i'd prefer if rather than measuring how much money you made in the previous second it'd just make a calculation for how much you're going to get on average and display that. or, you could add an option for this in settings somewhere, which i'm fine with as well.
Great for a jam game especially, good luck with the ratings!
The good: Love the ASCII aesthetic, upgrades scale really nicely, UI has great clarity.
The less good: Audio is simple but nice, volume scales a bit high with trains, even when set to 1/16.
Future development: I'd like to see more active things to do with the research section (choosing between a number of projects, maybe the different scientists add progress faster for different projects?). Also spreading out to inter-country train lines and/or inter-continent train lines before immediately going galactic would be nice.
Definitely trying this again if I see an update for it. :D
developer response: Thank you! I really want some decision making involved post jam for sure and a longer "loop".
