I'll be the first to admit it. I got got greedy, and got jumpscared for it. Touche.

All in all, very promising demo with a really unique feel. I would have hoped to see more of the "escape room/exploration" part, but I suppose it's best to keep some secrets for the main game. Wishlisted!

Wow, this game has massive potential. Were you perhaps inspired by Pilot Quest from UFO50? Either way, can't wait to see what's next!

developer response: yo! crazy that someone brought this up, but kinda yea! the meat gating the amount of materials you need is inspired by that UFO50 game, liked it a lot! Otherwise exploration/RPG aspect of the game is inspired by Candy Box games & Artistic Direction is very inspired by Plastiboo's Vermis! Bunch of different inspirations in this game :) Glad you enjoyed!

The looping and prestige mechanics are pretty sound for the demo (I do hope this isn't it for all 1000 floors in the full game), and I liked the small amount of exploration you could do in the safe part of the dungeon. The art style is also pretty great. Otherwise, I don't have a lot to say about it because it's honestly all pretty soundly executed and there is only a very small amount of the game here for me to look at anyway. I enjoyed this a lot!

Shamed me with a jumpscare for using an autoclicker (i'm at work and i can't click frantically) and now it hits me with an error message and won't even load:

Error: Couldn't load project data at path ".". Is the .pck file missing?
If you've renamed the executable, the associated .pck file should also be renamed to match the executable's name (without the extension).

this is genuinely the first time a demo on here made me consider getting the full game. how much focus is given to the puzzle stuff in the full game? i guess one way of phrasing it is: is it puzzles that you do in service to the idle game of it, or is the reason you advance the idle game to advance in the puzzles

developer response: In the full game, you'll gradually find items in the dungeon that'll grant you access to more and more rooms and puzzles. The idle game will advance your adventure.

I saw the comment a few back, and I have to say:
Please keep all the numbers, I like being able to see everything
Also, this game probably has the best visuals of any idle I have ever played

**Absolutely fantastic! **

The game has nice music, and I do like the UI. However the accuracy of in-game mouse is meh, the main problem is that it's not dead center in comparison to the desktop mouse (note this might be an issues on my end since I use Linux). A potential fix if you would move the in-game mouse hit-box closer to middle of the hand i.e the back palm, and maybe make the hit-box a bit bigger.
The prestige part of the game is fine, but I rather have the upgrades arranged in a grid pattern or by category.
Also an upgrade to make boon semi-permanent from dungeon run to another dungeon run would be nice.
Either way, when this game come's out i will 100% buy it!

Overall, I really enjoyed the demo and it left a strong impression. The atmosphere, visuals, and music are excellent, and the mix of idle progression with exploration and light puzzle elements feels unique and well thought out. The core mechanics, looping, and prestige systems already feel solid, and the art direction helps the game stand out a lot. That said, the UI can be overwhelming at times, with too many numbers on screen and a font that’s hard to read, and some interactions (like mouse accuracy and upgrade organization) could be smoother. Even with these issues, the demo feels genuinely promising and made me interested in seeing how much deeper and richer the full game will be.

Loved this. Just wish these type games were also released for browser. I get lost in my Steam library and really love the ease of being able to pop into a browser game. Maybe it's just that monetizaiton is harder outside Steam?
