A bit disappointing max level doesn't allow you to buy all Asscension upgrades, but a fun game regardless
developer response: That's actually a bug - for the time being, reloading the game should fix it. I already managed to find a fix in the engine, though, & hope to be able to update the web version soon. (:

Played this toilet worthy game on Itch, was absolute pooped out by the time I was done, had to flush twice!!!!
Positives:
+ It's nice to see a nodelike with a meaningful upgrade tree, rather than a bloated web of tiny improvements.
+ Fun theming and some nice variety.
+ hehe poop puns
So-Sos:
~ It would be nice to have something to do in the "active" parts. Feels like this would've been better as a pure idle game with the poop square always running.
~ Round stats are good, but with how fast auto-play is, you kind of need the last round's stats as well. (Or better yet, a moving average)
~ Might just be me, but I kept looking at the bottom left for my currency and getting confused why I couldn't buy upgrades. I don't think the "current poop indicator" is prominent enough.
Negatives:
- The ass-censcion tree is a bit dull. I get it's a demo but only having value increases means it's not really worth doing.
- The music doesn't really blend into the background, and gets pretty annoying pretty quickly.
But overall a solid and chunky demo, I'm interested to see where it'll go from here.

Don't really see why upgrades need to be behind a menu instead of onscreen during play. Just feels like a hassle to click back and forth.

developer response: Sorry to hear that; that really sucks. Don't really know how to prevent that for web builds, unfortunately, but I'll do some research & see if there's a way.

Dont get why production is timed. Are you planning to have upgrades that like cascade and to avoid it getting to much you reset every so often? Otherwise you could just have it so it goes forever and you can stop whenever you want aswell
