sort: go backdeveloper response: That's not a bad idea, haha. I'm writing it down!
Right now I'm working on version 1.3, an endless mode for those who prefer idle gameplay... and then I'll see if I can focus on making the Steam demo.
Oh, and about the cat, what better boost than listening to its soothing purr? hahaha
developer response: Congratulations!!! I think it's a difficult time to get through.
developer response: Hahaha, if there's one thing I'm proud of, it's that it's a faithful and realistic simulator.
developer response: Try version 1.1.1 and let me know if it continues
developer response: If you exit the game where you select the mode, there's a button next to "Play" to delete the save file and restart.
In Adam and Eve, there's a chance you'll run out of food and water and have no eggs to sell.
I'm usually not into these kind of games, and I like more games with short runs, quick impactful upgrades, etc..., but this one is so so fun.
I loved it. The upgrades you buy are really impactful even if they cost "a lot", and you feel that. The pacing of the game is fun, and changes based on each gamemode that you choose (LOVED the fact that there were multiple, btw).
I just want to keep playing all the time and try to figure out the best strategies. I think there's a very long road ahead with all sorts of gamemodes you can explore and add in, and it really really has a lot of potential!
Really, realy cool. So simple, yet you made it so very enjoyable. Thank you dev(s)! <3
developer response: You're going to make me cry. Seriously. Thank you for playing and for taking the time to comment. Reading your comment makes me so happy! I wasn't sure if these challenges would be well-received; I didn't want to modify the base game, but I'm glad they were. So thank you for playing. There will be more, but one step at a time.
Egg dealer and Egg Hustler seem to count boxes of eggs as a single egg, meaning you need 6x as many in order to get the achievements. Not impossible but probably takes longer than intended.
More of a problem is 250 chickens and 500 chickens. I'm at 120 and things are starting to slow down. I'm in infinite mode so I can combine chickens but those combined chickens only count as a singular chicken. So even though my counter reads 260 chickens I only have 120 progress towards the achievements. It should probably be based off total effective chickens so its not a test of your computer.
developer response: You're right, I'll check them. Thank you so much for playing and for commenting.

developer response: They are organic free-range eggs
