Pretty good start. My main complaints are that I wish I could mute the thump of the chest hitting without affecting other sounds, and it would be nice to know at a glance which resource the upgrades took, if not the amount.
The completionist in me enjoyed this, but I do feel like something is questionable with the item chances.
I've opened hundreds of chests with a 9.7% chance to get a Legendary - the last one to complete that set - instead I've gotten 7 Relics from a 0.38% chance. :(

developer response: thank you! yes, last one Legendary is too rare, also lucky boxes chance chances for more rare rarities (relics included).
in next version of demo (soon) will be huge rebalance and more instruments.
Really enjoyed the game concept.
I would suggest adding an overlay or subsections that tell you what category an item is in e.g armor, weapon, accessory, etc as more are added so we know what to focus on for the double drop %.
The 38/38 legendary took forever to get. Had to speed the game up 50x for a few minutes just for it to drop thinking it was broken.
5/5 game otherwise.

honestly.. the way the auto-loot vs auto-collect timers work makes ZERO sense....
no matter what it'll always wait a full cycle on the loot collect after the chest is opened... it's just.. really annoyingly badly designed. i couldn't see past that and try more of the game

i realized the loading bars... are very weird. you made it look like the top part (half width) is a separate bar from the bottom part (full width) but that's just one bar, shared by the "open crate" and "loot items" cooldowns.. the way you designed it implied something completely different.

Switching loot box types auto collects and there's keyboard shortcuts 1-6 to switch. Everything went pretty fast after that. Just gotta wait for the automation achievement and active abilities achievements now.
