Is this a game about plurality?

I really like that slow realisation that all the characters upgrades are linked with each other since it makes those moments where you go "Oh, I dont remember buying this upgrade" until you realise whats going on

The game does have automation, it's just locked behind the 6th character/tab.

I feel like the game could use some form of buy max or auto buy because there just ends up being a lot of clicking once you unlocked the 5th character
