I looked at the code yesterday and it looks like that's the only interactive element of the game. Other than that it's just LNGI.

I just unlocked the second multiplier button - you get it at galaxy 3 if you were wondering

The game thumbnail seems to hint at a third multiplier button, but I'm at galaxy 7 and I haven't reached it yet 🤔

Personally I don't like the newer version as much as the old one. The gameplay consists of pressing a pair of buttons 1000 times to get a galaxy. That's the same gameplay of the last version, but you used to have the option to idle through it. The changed scaling makes that much harder now, and the game that is left isn't very fun and doesn't have the idle game-y feeling of progress anymore.
