I'm in the middle of creating this: https://mirror.turbowarp.xyz/#1011997463 https://amr073.itch.io/incremental-insanity-beta in scratch.
Please give feedback :)
Can someone give feedback on my Incremental?
As someone who (unfortunately) also only knows how to make games on Scratch, it's actually pretty good.
I'm not gonna really focus on the gameplay since,, well, I'm not really the person for that, but the graphics and code I can check out.
This will not be 100% accurate as I can not read code very well.
What I Like:
- Custom Text Display (even for cost and amount bought, crazy).
- For the most part, clean graphics.
- All the code is pretty much in one sprite, which is kinda impressive.
- Love seeing custom blocks, definitely helpful with organization and,, well, more.
What I Don't Like:
- Having everything under one sprite can be useful, but thing's can get pretty unorganized pretty fast.
- Some of the custom blocks / long formulas you use can be found in Turbowarp's plugins (which you may have seen since on your project page, you redirect people to use the turbowarp link instead).
- The buttons go from having the cost on top to being on bottom (compared to amount bought), which really confuses me.
- There's a lot of code blocks that aren't connected to anything, although sinec this is a public preview I can assume these will be used later.
Overall, definitely better than most Scratch projects, but still could use improvements.
WARNING: Most people on galaxy.click do not like Scratch projects so... yeah, keep that in mind.
