This is a quest to play Every Single Damn Game On This Site? Why?
Bored. Mostly, Thats, Yeah, Mostly out of boredom, especially because im gonna be spending 4 months away from my main setup where all we have is a laptop that cant do much, tbh!
Playing Every Game On Galaxy
some rules: play every game for 1 hour before i move on to the next one (except for certain exceptions, in which ill get to later as they come up.), once a game is completed i can mark it as completed
start with game 1, end with, well, whatever is the last game(s) left before i eventually grow tired of this project.
you can follow progress at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13-JzUywVB4mM7eTTsj1DECrHRTPtNYUgS2yaNcD1tDE/edit?gid=848148168#gid=848148168
i'd recommend doing 45 minutes due to there being much demo slop and games that are finished in under an hour
(also if you ever want to complete every single game on galaxy goodluck on fundamental LOL)
Update 1:
So, about the statement about the first post in that i'd be spending 4 months away from my main setup, due to the canadian border control people Not liking me, that is no longer the case, I will still occasionally work on this project regardless..
HOWEVER, We still have to update the Fans (nobody, Yet.) so heres my progress
Week 1: we have played up to ID number 8, out of which 2 games were unplayable, both due to glitch hosting shutting down (rip Ordinal Gwarkup (ID 1) and tree of nerfs 2 (ID 4)(wheres tree of nerfs 1?))
Out of the 6 games I have played, we have a total time of 5 hours and 19 minutes played this week.
Now, you may ask, why 19 minutes? I have decided that for Advent Incremental, I will only be completing one day per "loop", in order to preserve the idea of the gimmick.
Before I talk about a dilemma I'm having with the next game in line
I will address Heg's comment to only do 45 minutes
45 minutes makes for much less easy math :( if a game runs out of content, im going to just move on to the next game, no point pushing something way past the endgame for the memes lol
Anyways, about the next game, "the longest incremental" (nowhere near the longest incremental on this site tbh), it has a feature I have not seen yet which is having 4 difficulties with varying levels of strategy required, I'm tempted to play all 4 difficulties starting with the easiest? But please let me know what you think we should do regarding that, as well as other possible games with similar features.
See you next week, I hope I'll have a bit more progress by then. Thank you for reading the first update!
I think you should (Unedited region) > play on whatever the intended difficulty is.
Snaily says:
I think you should play on whatever the intended difficulty is.
hard to know what is the intended difficulty, tbh.
whatever the default the game sets you onto when you start? if it gives you the prompt at the start then just pick whatever one seems to have the least buffs and nerfs on it. if you can't pinpoint a difference between any of the modes then thats just bad game design (edit) > imo
specifically, TLI 1 puts you into a "choose your difficulty" screen long before you ever start playing, so i just started with the lowest difficulty, we'll get the rest soon enough
anyways ill try to do my 2nd update soon-ish, been dealing with a lot of life issues so progress has been minimal.
Update 2:
Hello! It has been much longer than a week, has it. Regardless, we come bearing gifts! Those gifts being updates on our progress.
We have played game IDs 9-16, of which all 8 games were playable. With that, we have spent 7 hours and 33 minutes, bringing our total time spent on this project to 12h 52m.
We also finished our first game! The first of many, I hope, that being Ice Incremental.
some interesting notes: game ids 12 -> 18 are all Jacorb games, and after that there are no more games by him ever, so we just have to spend 7 hours straight playing jacorb games.
The next game in our list is ID 17, which is prestige tree - classic, which is a game i Believe I have beaten before on jacorbs website! so thatll be fun.
bit of a shorter update, but not much I can say, see you next update which is whenever I can get enough time to play a decent amount of games!
