Hot take: galaxy.click should stop bringing a lot of new games out of itch.io

As a mobile player, literally all of those itch.io games absolutely heats up the CPU up to dangerous levels, it’s not even funny. I’m sure most of them have amazing content, unfortunately I couldn’t even pass mid-game in most of them.

My proposal is either galaxy.click should stop cross-integrating out of itch, or translate those games to github or something, OR bring in as many github games as you do to itch (to balance it out)! Most of the “recently added” page recently has been games out of itch.io, nearly all of it! I’m kinda bored now, I wanna play new games that I could.. y’know, PLAY!

Hi, there is nothing that can be done about this, the games are of high quality and people enjoy them, your capability to use the site shouldn't be prioritized over everyone else.

Maybe an itch.io tag could be automatically added based on the URL? Then people like you could add it to your site-wide filters, without causing problems for anyone else.

What an utterly unhelpful comment showing complete disregard for what devices are available to people. Not everyone can just "get a computer" and even then, proper computers (laptops especially) can struggle to run some titles on galaxy without extreme lag.
