Really fun game! Interesting mechanics, although it doesn't really allow me to automate anything or afk, it's a really good incremental. Would consider wishlisting if I had steam.

I want bigger net size cap so I can cover the entire screen

Gameplay is great, artstyle is great, pacing is good and overall so satisfying to play. Having both net and bug upgrades and abilities increase combo potential is very cool too. Dragging to deploy the net is an important mechanic at first to try predict when the bug is gonna be under there, but the more upgrades I got, the less I thought where to throw the net, so I would just cast small ones, and I thought the purpose of casting a bigger net was defeated since all of the abilities would clear the screen anyways. I think there should be an upgrade that allows for automatic net casting on click rather than dragging for later game when it becomes less useful. Something cool to add would probably be more unique movement patterns for the bugs just for variety sake. I also think the arrows in the cashiers menu, where the customers buy stuff are bit redundant, since all counters are the same. If this was actually designed to be a fully fledged store with decorations and variety, then just looking around with the arrows would make more sense. Overall, mechanically fun and artistically pleasing game!

this is actually like really good. the artstyle is nice, the sound effects and music is good, i also just love birds as well so why not love the game. i hope in the full release there’ll be things like more types of shop upgrades, i think its a bit sad to only have 6 cash upgrades which are maxed out pretty quickly. same thing goes for the actual bug catching part, wouldn’t mind stuff like map hazards or special bugs that make gameplay more interactive (e.g a bug that will see your net and dodge it, forcing you to accurately net it in the middle, corner it, or overwhelm it with enough nets it tires out and cant dash)

Fun and short demo, I love how well the theme and visual design complement the core mechanic. Not sure I've ever seen 'quickly drawing a little drag select box with my mouse' as the main mechanical interaction used in a game, but it works really well as a casual, satisfying, incrementally upgrading spin on a standard clicker (and one that I don't have to decide whether to trivialize with autoclicking or risk carpal tunnel for the "authentic developer intended experience"), the timing element keeps it from being immediately trivial and gives a hint of that "I figured out the enemy attack pattern and now this part is easy" satisfaction. The theme and visuals of the bug catching premise are a perfect fit, reminds me a bit of the immersive appeal of games like bowling and golf on a Wii. Spent as long overthinking this review as I did playing through the demo so I'll end by saying this is def worth your time, it's short and has charm.
