comments for The Alterhistorian's TMT offshoot cousin
sort: go backIt's extremely good, it deserves more content!
I loved the puzzle of figuring out the secondary layer.
For what you managed to do for a prestige tree mod, that's an easy 5 stars.
I loved the original alkahistorian, and I'm honestly a big fan of this too. I come back to this once in a while. It's a nice take on it!
Fun, but rather short. Definitely needs more content. 4/5
nice game, 4/5
If you're stuck without getting enough Secondary elements, you might need to turn off Forced Conversion on Mud to let Assimilation build it up so the other four Secondary elements can cap out, then turn Forced Conversion off for those too, so Mud can go up, etc.
Interesting
btw, the tanks are made with bars facing up (if you didn't know that) (source: i'm a tmt dev)
I've reached a point where there are no upgrades that I can get. Should this be possible?
very good and fun but im too smoothbrain to be efficient
update when? *bricked*
an actually good tmt game
anyone stuck on day 21?
i need help with day 21
day 32 is the current endgame ?
Unlike the original this fails to come to the same degree of cohesion that the original had. It doesn't have the feeling that all systems are part of the greater loop (i.e. in the original you could just open all the systems, and they would just work without much of any micromanaging or anything.) In this it's you will many times have to turn stuff on and off so that you can keep some semblance of productivity even when you're running on "barrowed time".
"Endgame: 31 hex shells" either is a lie, i'm softlocked or i'm so blind i don't see what i should do. I checked every upgrade of every generator in every tab and i can't find anything possible to buy, everything cost more than the max capacity of ressources a can hold.
This is the best Prestige Tree mod I played in a while. Heck, this is one of the best incremental games I played all week. Granted right now it's pretty short, and given how often you need to switch between layers, it would be nice to have some notification that there is an upgrade to buy somewhere else without leaving the layer. But as it stands, unlike the other incremental that had only 2 tool in their toolkit: "the next production buyable" and "timewall", this game made me actually think and understand the alchemical machine I was working with ("Secondary" layer). Huge bop. Gib more.
