developer response: thanks for the feedback! i have a proof reader working on spell (im dyslexic so there's only so much i can do on my own) also the backing up you game was for the downloadable vertion i have at itch.io. there is no way currently to export your save from the web browser vertion. it should be backing up to the cloud automatically though i havn't had extensive testing on that yet. im worrking on a better wayto back up saves. if you don't mind what reselution were you playing at were you coun't se the bar on the bottom?
here's a few things I noticed:
• The speed bar overflows after getting high enough speed/ same with underflow for character hp
• Not having info for RP and God Point gains when reincarnating makes it a guessing game if you should do it
• Wisdom scaling should probably be softcapped, since after 100+ you regen more than you need for infinite heals
• Diversity of sustain abilities like DEF should probably be implemented (like HP reg or lifesteal) to make it feel more impactful
• Golden touch has not really enoguh impact
• more god upgrades like ability cooldown or gamespeed would be neat
overall solid scaling, even if it still is rather dry for now. stage 50 may need to be a bit adjusted unless other upgrades are added. every other wall felt good.

Speed will be adjusted to do multiple attacks simultaneously after speed hits ceran amout.
Im not capping wisdom but i will cap the heal at a certen amount (it is not a hard cap as your hp gose up the hel persentage after hitting "cap" will slowly decrease for 10% total hp hel to 3%) and rhe heal will need to be upgraded to go past that. Upon upgrade heal will cost 3-4 times mana essentially increasing the amount of wisdom you will need in order to get that cap again.
I have sooooo many more plans for god abilities :)
Also life steal will be a thing eventually. As I create more units more difficult enemies with higher defense or attack will be found in later stages which will amplify the importance of having more Diversified units.

Ive played many games on this platform, some of which crunch massive amounts of numbers and render numerous things on the screen at once. Havent had such intense usage/inefficiency till now.
I'll find another game to play and check back on this game in awhile, hope this issue is fixed by then.
developer response: if you have shadows turned on they will cast lite rays and calulate shadows, this happens even when game is at idle while diolog is up, (especaly if your in the forest were the farries spawn) you can turn shadows off in settings and this will reduce greatly. I will be scrapping a lot of my old graphics settins and rworking them though.
A few things i do plan to add in the future:
"AFK mode" - this more or less disables all visuals and will keep the screan black (to help avoid bernin) it will also set a frame rate cap of 20FPS so that the CPU dose not use needless energy.
Low power mode Sets Frame cap to 30 and disables shaddows and reduces particals.
High performance mode removes frame cap and turns on shadows as well as incresing particals.
While they don't take a "tone" of performance, ill also make the character images on the left be able to be minimized, this will make it so there are less calls to update hp bars mp bars XP bars and stat screans.
(there is actualy a TONE of number crunching that gose on and i will continue to optomize as time gose on!) but i would be fairly certain the majority of the lag you saw would be do to the shadow casting.
developer response: My code editor just added spell checking to thr built-in features! Super exited about that as it will help to reduce issues and mitigate thr need for an outside sell checker (still need one to go though all my old code and also review new code but should be much faster)
developer response: It should be up very soon I have just completed building the backup server so that stuff like this never happens again. I just need to finalize the implementation

also i cant load a save, i think thats becasue of the missing user authorization tokin error i get every time i load the game, but im hoping its just a saves dont work in the tutorial for some reason issue (i also had an error when signing up. but i dont remember what the error wasl)
developer response: if you got an error when signing up but it still seemed to complete makse sure your not using any capitals in your email adrass (ive seen that cause an issue) sadly on this site if you don't save with the credencals it is likly you will loose your data after i updte the game. Something is super broken with saves on the last update. Once I sign in I get prompted with a choice between 2 saves, both show 0 as top wave killed, one has an accurate unit count, and the other has a unit count from before my last batch of merges (the second one doesn't match my save backup, no idea where it's from).
Loading either starts with the intro story dialogue. If i immediately go to the save menu and click the normal load button, I can usually can get back to my actual current save, but twice the autosave has happened before i can get back to the save menu and the load from backup is the only thing that prevented me from losing all progress.
I've had to reload the page 5 times since the last update for various reasons, and every time the 2 saves it asks me to choose between still have the same play time as the first time I saw it today. Something is not working with that new screen on my side at least.
developer response: There was a bug in the save selection screen i pushed were it did not properly trigger auto saves. As for the 2 saves one should be local, and the other should be normal save. I thought i had fixed it. Have you refreshed since the 0.0.16.2 (im switching to a by date bayses from a play time baces) im also reworking auto login reload. Do you recall if you were getting thr save conformation popup in the top right of the screan every minute or so?

developer response: I have a story writter already slated to check spelling grammer and proof/rewrite most of the story that is in place right now. as far as saves go the game saves localy to the browser already and if you want a downloadable vertion that will save to the computer itslef that is already available. The problem is that if people play in incognito mode or clear browsing data all that is lost. to be clear you can play and can have save data when you come back without an "account" but with links braking every time i update offten times the saves don't carry over.
Also the "Account" isn't really anything except a direct connection to a save file. its just a way to make it so i can recover peoples saves or they can back them up and have confidence that they wont loose there many hrs spent You don't even need to put in a real email address and no emails will ever be sent so [email protected] woudl work as long as you remember it.
PS im glad you like what you see so far AI (user defined attack priorities and customization) is high on my feature priority list and will probably be out within the next 2 to 3 updates (so end of week or mid next week probably)
