It would be really really nice if the character targeting system got revamped. Maybe with a separate section for boss fights? It would also be nice if you could set the characters to focus on the same enemy and just dps them down one at a time.

developer response: I have some cool ideas coming up with that. including making enemies clickable to make them "high priority" targets. Im really not happy with the UI or the targetting system i have in there right now and will proably redo it at some point. Been focusing on the live event right now. Sorry for this page being down a bunch inve been pushing out patches so fast i can't keep up on both platforms. :/

other things I plan to add soon in regards to Unit AI
- Adding an adjustable level bar for unit attacks inacse of "over leveling"
- adding abbility to adjust specal's level to never use more than a certen "%" of total mana with one attack
- more/ better Targeting options and more clear wording for who you are targeting
- Making AI sttings persist past merge

Something else that would be nice is a current objective indicator... I am kinda stuck on the sheep and tomatoes I think I probably need to reach a deeper floor but I need to isekai a few more times to get there I think. It would also be nice if there was a passive combat speed boost for floors cleared in previous isekais cause getting to/past floor 101 takes a while even with upgrades that or some sort of skip mechanic.

Additionally it is not clear to me how I get more of the currency with the planet icon. I'm assuming that unit summoning is locked behind that as are further gear upgrade tiers and I think having those would make my life much easier.

developer response: Glob Icon is "story parts" completed. Ive just now implemented the progress bar on the top as a work In Progress for upcoming milestones. Ill eventually have Boss Icons and "story" segments marked on that as well.

There is a potion that will increse "game Speed" as well as more things like that comming in the future. (potion shop is next overhall. Was ment to be done already but Event has taken my focus) There are alos units you will unlcok in the future that hit mutiple untis at once and help to clear lower floors fatser, As well as Permanent Potion Shop upgrades that increse start floor.

i tried to "sign up" but it said invalid email address. why would it say that..?

developer response: did you use a "special character" at all? i mean the only way i know you could get this is if you imputed somting that would make it so when @email.com was put on the end it still wouldn't work. What username did you try?

unless the Authentication server was having issues of its own at that time. Sorry i don't have enough detials to hlep you.

thanks for the quick reply last time, glad to know it's nothing illegal. another thing though, is it intentional that the game runs much slower in the background? when i leave the game to check on other tabs/windows, the game seems to runs much slower, eventually it stops running at all until i check back on it (bgm stops playing, and when i check back there are multiple afk reward screens giving 0.2h worth of rewards depending on how long i was gone). if this is intentional... it's pretty counterintuitive for an idle game... because, y'know, it's an idle game, and you can't even idle effectively, if it's not intentional though, i hope it gets fixed quickly.
on another note, i'd love to hear more about the legendary pity system, playing with just common/uncommon units has gotten pretty boring (gems are too rare of a resource, so i try to reserve them for the shop). i'd love to have a goal i can actually work forward.

developer response: Thanks for the info on the running slow in background. I've heard others report the same thing. (i just did some readinup on this right now befor continuing to write my post) I think i may have found a solution and will quickly add it in to my update i plan to push out within the next few hrs! let me know if it works!

Secondly The "pitty" system i have in place is spesificly for "new Legendries" and is in relation to "tablet Shards" With our first "Ledgendary summons" obviously you will get a new legendary XD but but after that there is only a 1:25 chance that it will be a "new Legendary" if you go 75 summons with the tablet shards and you don't get a new one in that entire time a new one is given to you on the 75th summon regardless of what you roll.

(also i have increased chances of rare units in next update once agian. im going to be monitoring rare drop rates intently over the next 2-3 updates once i find a spot i like ill salidfy it and post it on the summons pages)

(if you haven't noticed already the (cat girl) "Thife" uncommon unit has a specal ability that steals Gems :) just so you know incace you missed it) Gems will continue to become more abondint as you progress in the game.

Lastly the update coming out within the next few hrs has new relics that boost Gem and other cool items you can get from the chests :) i hope you enjoy it and thanks for your feedback!

I know its been a whole moth since the last time i've posted an update regarding this game but i wanted to let you all know im still working on it and its not dead. Ive bean really bissy working on some major exames and havent had as much time to program. However i wanted to let you know what i have accompleshed so far

Completed coding in the next story semgent
Completed creating 3 new cuseans (largest number of cutseans in a single story segment so far) even created some custome unit sprites inclusing one of "Hero" so he can be desplayed with the party in story segments 🙂
Summoning numbers have ben adjusted but im still working on coding in the "Garenteed new" units apon certain number of summons (hopfuly will have that done by end of day)
New Popup "ghosts" to click on for rewords

This update story is HUGE and contanes over 300 lines of diolog. as such i created a new system (took a while) to automate story integration in the future to drasticly decreese my work load.

I ended up wasting an ENORMUS amount of time trying to work with a compony to integrate Monetization but that altimitly fell though. as such i am again putting that to the side for now.

While i havnent taken the exam yet, I expect to have some down time over the next few days to get some good programming done. The exam should be taken latter this month after wich i will again have more time.

NGL this game is buns, mad glitchy, needs a login for some reason, graphics mad buns.

developer response: if you don't want to create an account you can do "guest login". This has Frinds lists (still a work in progress) will have guilds, Group events, friends events and other online related features so a way to authenticate with a server is nessisary.

Still have tones of bugs to work through yes! lots of the GUIs are being reworked and updated (I was pritty bad at them when i started making the game)

developer response: its not on purpose sadly XD I wish it was, I have time set aside over the next few updates to have my story writer proofread the enter game.

You should totally save your players' login info so they don't have to reenter it every time they want to play the game

Also why is the password stored as plain text 😭

developer response: Funny you mention this now XD I just now in the update i pushed implemented encryption, and the test subject for the encryption is passwords. on next signing all passwords will be properly encrypted. It is still "decripted" for you in the Account page (this is mainly for people who used Guest Sinin as you will need your "non encripted" password to sign in)

Still looks bugged somehow, i mean, dialogues keep randomly repeating somehow at the very least. I'll keep checking it, at least until that works. Kind of hard to keep up with story.

developer response: intro story repeats when a new game is started. this is a known bug and will be corrected probalby in my next update now that more game braking bugs have been handled

Honestly I'd still rather just play as a guest with an export and an import.
Also: several menus becoming an overlay over the dungeon situation with a back button is of course fine, except the back button takes the place of the retreat button and if you accidentally doubleclick you just wasted time.
Like... just never move the retreat button, move the back button below it.

The game needs massive improvements to its efficiency. I was wondering why my M1 Macbook was running so hot, opened up Task Manager in Chrome and saw that this game is utilizing a massive 74% of my CPU, even when nothing is happening (left the window open with a dialog between the characters waiting for me to click to proceed for awhile as I had to take care of some work).
Ive played many games on this platform, some of which crunch massive amounts of numbers and render numerous things on the screen at once. Havent had such intense usage/inefficiency till now.
I'll find another game to play and check back on this game in awhile, hope this issue is fixed by then.

developer response: if you have shadows turned on they will cast lite rays and calulate shadows, this happens even when game is at idle while diolog is up, (especaly if your in the forest were the farries spawn) you can turn shadows off in settings and this will reduce greatly. I will be scrapping a lot of my old graphics settins and rworking them though.

A few things i do plan to add in the future:
"AFK mode" - this more or less disables all visuals and will keep the screan black (to help avoid bernin) it will also set a frame rate cap of 20FPS so that the CPU dose not use needless energy.

Low power mode Sets Frame cap to 30 and disables shaddows and reduces particals.

High performance mode removes frame cap and turns on shadows as well as incresing particals.

While they don't take a "tone" of performance, ill also make the character images on the left be able to be minimized, this will make it so there are less calls to update hp bars mp bars XP bars and stat screans.

(there is actualy a TONE of number crunching that gose on and i will continue to optomize as time gose on!) but i would be fairly certain the majority of the lag you saw would be do to the shadow casting.

I just found this game it seems interesting but I cannot play it due to the screen being blank and when it does load up I am unable to create my account

developer response: not sure what might be happening but you could alwasy give it a shot on itch.io and see if that helps (usernames cant have spaces or specal characters in it, you can also just hit the guest button and then make note of your username and password in the account screen)

How do you expect ANYONE to take you seriously or create an account when you can't even spell email correctly?

developer response: "account" is nothing more than a way to map a username to a save file. Doesn't even need a valid email address. [email protected] would work fine. (as long as you can remember what it is) As a solo developer with dyslexia spelling is rough so untill i get a proof reader there will be lots of mistakes. if you cant handle misspelled words than you should probably avoid this game for a while

you do realize.. there is literally no field asking for an email address right? my god. why would you ask for a username and a password and then give an error message about an email address. what on earth is going on?

developer response: Error messages are sent from the server not set up by me. the sever i use for authentication wast's in email adress format but don't want to colect peoples emails, so i format it into Email myself in code by thouging @email.com on the end but never show it. you CAN put in an email adress if you want and it will still work. infact i plan to make that an option in the future as i can send password reversys to the email on file. but don't realy want to collect emails at this game stage

developer response: i do understand that in a lot of cases arund the incremental community it is standard practice to "export save files" however with a lot of the direction this will be growing that's just not practical. I have elements of the game that require account validation (Mainly Guilds, Partner events, Friends lists, but more stuff to come) but this is also going to be directly avalible on mobile devices and steam eventualy. I would need to desgined a new exprot import system for basicly each platform wich i have no desiger to do, The only reason its a WebGL build at all right now is its much eser to get it infront of people for stestings and develpoing than a .apk file or even a .exe as people don't like to download stuff.

for a game based off of anime i see no issue with character being anime characters.

Reselution was a big issue for me at first. And I was SUPER BAD at GUIs when i started this project, so i locked the resilution to 720p while i worked on figuring out better scailing. (part of it may have been becsae i was embedding it from Itch.io and the view windows seamed to be doing wired stuff) Ill proably be rembing that soon after a little more testing.
