sort: go backThis is a great time wall game. If the offline timer could be extended in early game it would feel a lot smoother. The four hour window was tough.
wanted to respond to lesha, it's not TOO obvious but it's required to discharge without getting the 4x boost SEVERAL times, it mentions that consumed energy is only given back to you upon doing so. also don't forget the research tab. anytime you spend energy you want to discharge to get energy back. i'm already closing in on 9k energy myself and i've only had it up a few hours :3c
986 hours and... well I just love how the game keeps shifting and changing and getting remixed all while using the same core pieces. Absolutely fantastic. No idea how much more time I've got before hitting the actual end, but my enjoyment has only increased the further I get!
just reached the current endgame, it took me a couple months. this game is a bit of a case of "it gets good by episode 300", but it gets REALLY good. for new players, completing stage 4 is when the game really starts coming together. easy 5 star from me, was a blast to play, itching for more, and etc.
Are the last two strangeness upgrades that cost infinity strange quarks buyable, or am I at the endgame now?
this is a really slow incremental game but it hooked me in and i can't stop
I'll be honest, I don't mind the "slowness" of the game! Not every idle game has to be super interactive! I straight up stopped playing Idle Dyson Swarm after it's rework BECAUSE I BEAT IN TWO DAYS. It removed all the fun of coming back, clicking a few buttons, seeing some numbers go up, then letting it run more. I leave this up while I'm working for a quick 1-2 minute break and that's just perfect. There are plenty of other "quicker" idle games to play if that's what you want instead
Really good game, the new update is pretty good, but losing the control over offline time was a major setback.
about to beat the game, and suddenly we got an update that rebalances the whole thing, funny
One of the best idle games I've played so far, I love how prestige is handled (as far as strange quarks go anyway, I'm not further than that). Each stage feel unique and gives you something to work towards other than "get a few hundred thousands of that one resource you've been farming from the start". The prestige goals make me want to know what's next and keep playing, which is something most idle games don't get right.
The fact that you have to keep going back to the first stage to reach further milestones to help you in the later stages really gives you a feeling of progression. When I'm bored, I can just decide I'm gonna complete one stage and stop playing, so that's nice.
I really love the game, but I've either reached the end or I missed something, I can't seem to unlock Galaxies again, even with 21600 quarks, inside or outside the Void. I thought there would be slightly more. Thanks for creating a fun game that lasts months.
this game robbed me of my strange quarks
tips for intergalactic phase:
try to make microworld permanent asap and automate it, it will make you passive 4-5 quarks every 1.5 minutes, permanent submerged stage isn't very useful but permanent accertion lets you manually grind quarks really fast
auto elements are unlocked once you get your first galaxy (look at the 4th row upgrade 5 in strange quarks shop
intergalactic milestones are not worth getting early on, you might actually want to get all remaining upgrades in that row first
you need about 4k-4.5k quarks to get 20 galaxies in a reasonable amount of time
Exactly my cup of tea .....not too much clicking , and due to the latest patches a little bit more flow, fine stuff
@cozymrspike the load button only uses files, I can’t paste something from the clipboard into a text box or anything, which means the “cloud saves” function on galaxy is useless in this game. I’m on mobile btw
I'm still in the midgame, but I wanted to say that I appreciate the rebalance a lot! It still feels paced fairly slow, but progress seems more consistent without too many places where the game feels like it stops.
I know some people seem to dislike the rebalance, but instead of removing it I would at most suggest making it an option that players who want a faster experience can turn on.
Loving the "strangeness" layer. Definitely took a while to ramp up, but the resets are all 1-2 hours now and exploring all the upgrades has been great. I do wish the automation quark upgrades were a little cheaper or a few unlocked with some of the earlier Strangeness Milestones because it feels like such a loss to invest in those vs the production upgrades when you have very few quarks to work with early on. Overall, keep it up - enjoying it a lot!
just saying: beating this game will take several months
especially post-vacuum stage, stuff gers really grindy there
Wish there was a way to export my save to the clipboard
