comments for Yet Another Match-3 Clone
sort: go backIt's a fun little time waster that makes me feel a little nostalgic for the match-3 genre of old. It's a real promising start and the eye-candy and minimalistic approach seem to blend well together like this.
I can't wait to see other modes come out other than Endless - I can see myself enjoying this quite a bit.
My old habits may seem to be kicking in - but it would be nice if the player could quickly match a gem the mouse is positioned on with the WASD keys (i.e. W = directly match with the gem directly north of the one the mouse is on, S = south, etc) so it's possible to play much faster.
i feel like making matches during a combo shouldn't reset the combo but should add to it, because it promotes quicker thinking during combos
it would be cool if powerups combined (especially for the 5-chains) because of how little combos there are during most of the gameplay
le gasp it's a non incremental!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
awesome
I already have Bejeweled in my computer
developer response: oh hey I have Bejeweled in my computer too
is this game still in active development? just a genuine question since this is very clean and enjoyable
Probably the best not-idle game on the site
maybe some sort of player saving system? like you can click on a player and it gives you a base64 string that you can post to other devices that saves your current level, xp, name, score, and board configuration so you can continue games across devices!
YAY!!!!
this is great
If this gets any more game modes I would be so excited to try them out
oh, can you make it so that the time between board levels doesnt cap out at 5000 xp (not sure if its xp, just guessing based off of github files)?, and just keep the 250+ each time, so it feels like a longer grind between levels
this game is super clean, please keep maintaining this one its fun, reminds me of old bejeweled
an actually good match 3 game (actually best ive ever player), good job
This is a very nice match-3! It would be neat if you could do some of the other types of matches that I've seen in other games to get different power-ups. Like when you put 4 in a square.
cool! you kept the merging 2 hypercubes to destroy the whole board!
It would also be nice if you could merge the power-ups together to combine their powers for super explosions!
how many games does this guy have
MurderMouse That's what i'm thinking!!!!!!
You know... I wouldn't be mad if someone made a match 3 incremental/idle game with prestiges, upgrades and what not.
