comments for Infinite Button Simulator
sort: go backI feel like it needs more automation. It is, at least, where I am (it looks like theres more), just a "enable auto clicker and move mouse in oval shape" kind of game.
re Lustre & Entropy: so-called "button simulators" are an incredibly popular genre on Roblox. Button Simulator Level, Absolute Button Simulator 2, and this game are all attempts to port the genre over to webgames, I don't think any of them are copying the others specifically
With sigil automation, I managed to obtain an "undefined" sigil for the reset after Hyperity (I haven't reset for hyperity yet). This broke my game, and I had to pop the sigil from the console then export-import to continue playing.
Good game (with an autoclicker to press buttons) otherwise. I'm almost to the point (10B charge) where automation can replace clicking for progress, but not for token / milestone grinding yet. Hopefully going to get some 4-boost runes soon to condense my inventory.
One thing I'm confused about is Skill Level, which I had to check the code to see that it is [sum of (current max button level for each reset layer - 1)]
Instead of having the tabs in the middle of the screen like that, can you move them so that they're on the side of the screen? The long grey bars in the middle of the screen are kinda annoying to click on every time I want to change tab.
would be cool if you could click-hold buttons to click automatically
Automation hurts my wrists.
game is very well done however the automation section is utterly miserable and ruins it. its too tedius and slow.
When does automation become automatic?
Automation needs some desperate QoL and explanations. Constantly dragging down the mouse for the dial hurts the wrist after a while, and the description text for the 4th and 5th upgrades is super unhelpful. Have 2 ranks in the "Charge/charge in charger" and I can't figure out what it does.
Here's what I did when I ran into the broken sigil
- Open developer console
- run game.sigils.pop()
- Verify that game.sigils.length
<= 10
- Navigate to the save storage screen
- Export as file
- Import the file you just exported
- if it doesn't resume working, then refresh (I can't recall for me)
click, click, click, reset, click, click, click, reset... oh hey, I should invest my gems. bzzzzzzzz aw dang it! bzzzzzz aw dang it!...
I got the legendary undefined Sigil
after 7.44 hours of playtime and 55,104 manual button presses
suggestion: please make it so you can use a scroll wheel on the charger - it is a pain in the ass with a touch pad (which i have to use occasionally)
is this a very moddable game?
developer response: I mean, you could certainly try modding it
Awesome game
entirely too much clicking. plus.. at some point you reach automation which is just a lie--nothing gets automated. there's a mini-game associated with it that is unexplained and eventually you'll just hate yourself for opening this in the first place.
Best to find yourself a better idler.
There should be a button to scrap all Runes below a certain level, like Epic and below. It's pretty tedious to eliminate them all individually. Plus, as everyone else said, more automation would be appreciated.
But other than that, I really like this and will be following its updates.
I really can't stand the automation menu. Clicking and dragging that much is annoying
Quick tip for everyone - if something doesn't work and/or update (automation or collapse point gain specifically) save and refresh and it'll work.
automation is unlocked way too late, my finger hurts lmao
also i'm not really sure what the relationship is between this game and the other "button" games but they're all pretty similar? not sure what that's about
