Or maybe where you show Depth at the top of the game window, you could also put what layer the player is currently on. So -Layer name- -Depth- -Coords- etc.
Neat. But I wish there was an indication of which layer I was currently on besides looking at what depth I'm currently at. Like, if I'm on Diorite layer and I click on the Layer option, the Diorite Layer should be a different color than the others so that it indicates that's the layer I'm currently on.

I don't understand the balancing here. To unlock a thing, the process is "Wait 5-25 minutes, n times. When finished, wait for a 1 in 600,000 random chance."
There's gotta be something I'm missing here. There's no way that the only method to unlock literally the only tier 2 pickaxe is to just sit around waiting for a 1 in 50k lottery ticket, right?
