sort: go back"artificially slowed down clicking" is one of the descriptions of all time by some guy
i blame roblox for this (roblox devs would have you pay 999 bobux or smth to remove the cooldown)
developer response: haha, this was in fact Roblox-inspired
no transactions

Why does automation (currently) stop at the basic fish?
You need a ton of grass carp, a massive amount really, to progress to shrimp. But there's 0 automation for them (I'm not counting the bait fish generator), at most an upgrade to make fishing for them a bit better. Let me repurpose some of my automatic fishers or something. Or maybe make that superfisher have a chance at getting grass carp? Still feel like the superfisher would be overpriced if it did that. Only bought a single one after I'd already unlocked shrimp, so past the point where it would've been useful.
developer response: I made the superfisher start catching grass carp, although this is meant to be the type of game where you play active, then take a break, and suddenly you have a ton of money and you're able to progress to the next stage. I get that's why it isn't for everyone though. (I guess part of the reason is the timers that are involved.)
Catching carp sometimes consumes bait without giving you carp.
developer response: It DOES give carp, it's just that it won't always give you grass carp/the type of carp that you want. You can see the "other fish" go up in response to this, although it is difficult to tell.
Since people have been confused about the grass carp/fish catch chance, here's the list:
1) The first "Catch a carp" button has a 30% chance to be common carp and 70% to be silver carp.
2) The next one you unlock has a 70% chance of grass carp, a 10.5% chance to be common carp, and a 19.5% chance to be silver carp.
Decent'ish, currently, short game with no prestige and not enough automation options and pointless timers on how often a button can be pressed even though long holding them clicks them repeatedly.
Any particular reason for only some of the grass carp progress bars to award fish? I just had it "misfire" 5 times in a row.
Also wondering if it's really necessary to keep the whole "you can purchase a small lake" text visible? The only interesting part is the +50% sell price after you've bought it.
Everything was great and went well, but it seemed that I cannot manually catch space fish despite having over 100k space bait and rely on sturdy spacefishers, had to save up 1t from tropical fish to afford one to get any space fish.
developer response: Thanks for letting me know: it should be fixed now!
my name is ander dingus and i have sour patch kids strawberry
developer response: i learned something new today, ander dingus
Fish per Second would be nice.
It's pretty entertaining. Shrimp prices seems bugged though. Says my shrimp was worth 500K+, but I got 200K-something from selling it. I'm guessing the reputation boost doesn't actually do anything.
developer response: Thanks for telling me! I've fixed it.
I exported my save and tried to import it and now I keep getting an Uh oh error. My game has stopped running.
The Upgraded Automatic Fisher trade says that it auto-catches grass carp, whereas the developer comments say that the Superfisher auto-catches grass carp. This should be clarified.
developer response: Thanks for telling me! It has been corrected.
now I'm really ready with
developer response: I'm a little concerned that it would take about 100 minutes to get that many sturdy space fishers given the easy click rate, but okay!
Well, to put it simply, the length of this game is artificially inflated. "Why?" you might ask. Well, every single action in this game takes some time. I understand why catching carp and cooking it requires some time, but why buying automatic fishing reel or selling cooked carp requires time? Saved 3000 dollars and 75 common carp to buy 3 automatic fishing reels? Wait minute and a half because after buying one button goes into 30 seconds cooldown. Spent several minutes to cook carp and want to sell it? Well, wait another few minutes because selling 10 cooked carps requires 5 seconds.
To be honest, i stopped playing this game right after unlocking shrimps, i already spent in this game an hour, and understanding that ahead of me is another stage called i decided that this game does not worth my time. This game could be the second Atomic Star, a short and cute incremental for half an hour, but because of the fact that every button in this game has a cooldown, it turned into a 2-3 hour long waiting game. In conclusion, this is not my (and judging by ratings, many others) type of game, maybe someone else will enjoy this game, but for me, this game is simply not interesting.
developer response: Thanks for playing the game. I get that a waiting game isn't for everyone, so I'm working on removing many of the cooldowns that are hated.
I've already shrunk the timewalls by a lot, so hopefully it won't be so bad anymore!
(As for that stage costing so much, that was likely because I was considering it from an idle perspective. Thanks for telling me!)
Oh shit atomuc star 2 just came out
would be rather nice if you could know the fish per second gain from the automatic fishing reels
I’m not sure if I finished the game, is the ocean really it? If so, the game is quite quick!
developer response: You're getting close to the end of the game. Congrats!
There wasn't anything wrong with my wording. You just didn't like that I said your games are all similar. I appreciate that you're trying to make games, and it's a good start, but when they are all as similar as they are, there's less of a draw to continue playing the new game, unless you REALLY like the concept. It doesn't do it for me and I'd like to see something else from you. Not just a different theme over the same concept.
oh, artificially slowed down clicking simulator here we go
