comments for Bee Incremental
sort: go backdeveloper response: So sorry about that; there was an issue with the multipliers of this game, and that caused you to be unable to get pollen.
developer response: I'm so sorry; this issue should be fixed now!
I had 1000 nurse bees and nothing
developer response: Maybe you ran out of royal jelly, which requires pollen from nurse bees? Sorry about it not being clear enough. (More likely, you encountered a rather silly issue with bee calculations)
More seriously... I'm certainly getting the same bug others are. How it happened was I had ~6000 royal jelly, not nearly enough nurses to feed a queen (not that I knew what that amount was at the time), so when I bought my first queen, she starved to death within a few days, showing 0 queens thereafter... but the "queens are starving" message never went away. Somehow, new pupae were still being produced, and all new royal jelly was being eaten. Despite the nominal advantages of an immortal queen producing 'free' pupae, this seems to be a hardlock, since after the queen dies like that, you simply can't get more royal jelly. This seems true no matter how many nurses you buy (up to and including well into the hundreds or thousands, according to reports), and that lack prevents you from getting at any upgrades that requires a functioning nurse/queen economy.
I reset my game after a couple hundred nurses failed to improve things, and simply resolved to be exceptionally careful with the Royal Jelly supply going forward.
developer response: Ahh, I get it. The queen bee bug is due to a fractional amount of bees technically being able to exist; I'll just have to make it run a check less often and make it subtract integeric amounts then. Thanks! I'll look into the other issues at some point.
developer response: 🤔🤔 i wonder how that happened
developer response: I'm not too sure why that is going on; by chance, do you not have enough pollen production or is something else going on? By chance, do you have your study amount too high?
developer response: wdym by that? i'm not really sure what this means
The seemingly rather arbitrary separation of "you can only buy 1 of these at a time" and "you can buy 1/10/100 of these at a time" is... annoying. Let me have a million nursery and queen bees without holding my enter key till the heat death of the universe. This is clearly a Big Numbers Game, why limit players to Small Numbers?
Another example for that being an issue is the "build a separate hive" option. They don't feel like they have any use in the limited amounts you can buy them (for some reason it even has a cooldown). They might feel more useful if there was something showing how much of an effect they actually have?
Then there's the bee homes' third tier which require flowers... which are very slowly generated by gardens... for which you need to buy the 2 seeds trade 50 times a piece... why...
developer response: 🧌 (thanks tho)
For early game I skipped queen bees and nurse bees their benefits seemingly were outweighed by their consumption, why slow down my progress for slight idle gains?
I was met by a wall being Royal Jelly Requirement. I begrudgingly bought nurse bees, their consumption was actually not bad, I purchased one queen bee, It was more or less useless at this point and so expensive.
Education Was very smooth, Although I just waited till I got every Education to check the changes out.
There was a slight wall to get enough honey for my first garden, I start to realize the problems with royal jelly here.
Getting my first sapling took awhile for some reason, I didn't get a tree until about 5 saplings. I was excited to see what I could do with the wood! unfortunately there was nothing.
Gold Was more or less a placeholder until I got enough fame To continue, It didn't increase my honey generation by much at all, So I was left to wait again.
In this time I decided to get...30,000 Bunny Farmers.
My first Iron Mine Took a long time, For the honey. I had a few hundred million wood by this point, just to discover there was nothing I could do with iron yet.
A long wait after, I reach my first fruit harvester, I had about 3 billion wood, 600 water sources/600 gardens by this point. Just trying to speed up the process somehow.
With a 600% boost to fruit production, I quite quickly unlocked the trades, Who knew iron Would no longer become an issue, with just one click I get 10x production!
Iron and fruit quickly reach the billions together, after all I had billions of wood gained while simply waiting that buying a hundred fruit harvesters was no issue.
The Water Sources and Gardens Are nothing important really, Of course you need a lot of water for your trees.
Pollination Points were now available! The first real increase in honey gains although short lived, considering I no longer need honey for anything!
The gem multiplier is just about useless since you'd rather use any other upgrade at this point.
1 Million nurse bees later... No increase in royal jelly, and hey those constructions stopped doing anything!
The Choppers are too expensive, while they are so much less effective than manually harvesting I pondered the reason for their existence.
Ah Crap, The Trees Drained All my water, now my honey production is even slower Should I go and get 50,000 more water sources for a temporary boost? I see no point, Choppers are cosmetic anyways!
1Q Pollen. I Reached The Pollinator, Oh It's pretty slow Looks like it wont be doing me much good, in-fact I would've been better off turning that pollen into pollination points...I have Some Regrets At This Point.
Oh Hey 1 Million Gold, And Some Pointless Boost to my gem production which isn't doing anything good for me at this point.
Honey Production is low, Royal Jelly Doesn't exist, My bees do not increase due to low pupae productions, which I cannot increase since there is no royal jelly.
There isn't enough water sources, if you get too many trees your progress becomes 5-10x slower until you get more water. Mass deforestation speed needs to be increased.
Can we Get actual Forager Bee Production Increases instead of Honey conversion speed!??
When Can I construct Houses from Gems or Gold?

developer response: Chances are that was because you ran out of royal jelly, which requires pollen from nurse bees, or you encountered a bug or something else weird :p
It's strange; I'll try to explain it more clearly.
