sort: go backCool game, I can't wait to see it get updated.
Looking forward to more! I enjoyed the story telling aspects, and the non-linear loops, I know in Increlution you could just choose to skip some things, but I like that you just don't even have those things to skip.
I did find one bug though,
Another weird issue, in Laurion, i installed a water recycler into the rover, which destroyed the rover's ability to make water bottles? WTF?
Wonderful! Only thing would be to have a text size option. On 4k the text is super tiny.
My dumbass taking the last 5 metal plates each time thinking I'll need them until the game forces me to not be able to retrieve them LMAO
Really amazing game, but I think the is bugged(Maybe just for me? I'm not sure how it got bugged).
Coming back to this game after a few months and I'm really impressed on how far it's come after such a short period. I'm personally really glad it's not just Increlution in space anymore and it definitely has its own identity and feel to it. Lots of the mechanics and concepts at play here are genuinely interesting and you do a great job at making many of the upgrades/boosts seem believable. While I still think parts of it could be a little more fleshed out, for example I think a log would be great, the game overall already has a lot of QOL perks that make it more enjoyable. Considering how many hidden death messages there are and such, I also think it'd be great for achievements one day too.
One thing i'll have to say that this game always has those empty white spaces on the computer, it really hurts my eye and the gaming experience, while on mobile it's fine.
developer response: Ouch, apologies for that. I'll definitely be looking into fixing that for the next version!
Would love a way to batch repetitive actions, its nice when the game does it for you, but being able to 'save' a custom group of tasks (e.g. opening cryo-pod, getting food, and opening first floor would be nice.
for anyone who doesn't know galaxy has a menu called game tweaks which lets you resize the game itself so that it fits your screen better. its in the open sidebar menu.
Genuinely one of the best incrementals in this genre, hot damn! Can't wait to play more of it with new content and twists of the plot
Coming from a prior save, but several loops into this save. Installing the water recycler from Laurion to my rover appears to remove my ability to recycle water, and I can't get any more water bottles.
Seconding the issue where installing the water recycler removes the ability to fill bottles (and doesn't auto-fill anything).
Hmmm... I'm not sure if I like the new action familiarity system replacing the skills. I'm sure it is much easier to balance and doesn't create the "the thing you used to do in the first area that would take you only 10 seconds at the lowest level now would take you 100 seconds in this new area, just so you don't complete it instantly at your high level". But it also loses the clear progress signposting that skills had, which is extremely important for a game that resets.
It is a bit annoying that you need to wait several minutes every loop before you can touch new content, but I would say this is a great game. The concept is very genius!
6/5 game
This game is a true 5/5. The story, the gameplay, it's all just 5/5. well not 5/5 but more 4/5 but among galaxy.click games this is a 5/5 compared to the many good games here. If this game was put on steam I would pay no question for this game. I really want to know
so, uhm, the new boost compared to the old one turns a 3-5 digging slog lives into at least 8, and makes many other parts much slower and requiring many more lives to progress. I'm sure it's fine for new players, but it does feel weird in contrast with the previous progression.
Actually when you are done Chapter Two you can try to sell it in Steam. If its below 5 I would definitely buy it, free is better. It would be pretty hot.
developer response: Since it costs $100 to put a game on Steam, I wouldn't ever make it completely free on there. I likely will have a free demo if/when it makes it to Steam, but that'll probably only be around the current amount of content.
This is REALLY good. Consider me sufficiently interested. First time I've commented on galaxy and I've been playing more or less daily for months. Great little flavor blurbs; a couple of interesting thought sections as a player; intrigue into the artifact and story as a whole; enjoyment in the system of gameplay and although no real interest in possible future combat, I would still do it with a smile while also loving even more of this king of gameplay evolved through new ideas in future chapters. I really hope you continue with this project. Thank you so much.
