sort: go backThis is REALLY good. Consider me sufficiently interested. First time I've commented on galaxy and I've been playing more or less daily for months. Great little flavor blurbs; a couple of interesting thought sections as a player; intrigue into the artifact and story as a whole; enjoyment in the system of gameplay and although no real interest in possible future combat, I would still do it with a smile while also loving even more of this king of gameplay evolved through new ideas in future chapters. I really hope you continue with this project. Thank you so much.
Looking forward to more! I enjoyed the story telling aspects, and the non-linear loops, I know in Increlution you could just choose to skip some things, but I like that you just don't even have those things to skip.
I did find one bug though,
Wonderful! Only thing would be to have a text size option. On 4k the text is super tiny.
I really like this, cant wait for more!
One thing i'll have to say that this game always has those empty white spaces on the computer, it really hurts my eye and the gaming experience, while on mobile it's fine.
developer response: Ouch, apologies for that. I'll definitely be looking into fixing that for the next version!
My idea for this concern in the update notes:
```
Food/Water items which are unlimited (come from actions with no Max Completion) will now be consumed before limited ones.
This is probably the change I'm least sure about. The original idea was to reward people for getting to the unlimited resources quickly and deliberately gathering them instead of the limited ones. But I do agree it's frustrating if you lose because your character is dumb. So I'm making this change for now, but won't guarantee it'll stay this way forever.
```
I get what you're going for here, my suggestion would be to allow rearranging items in the inventory and the game will select what to consume, in order, from top to bottom. So it's both an inventory and a priority list.
developer response: Hmm. Yeah, that could work. I'll look into it for v0.2. Thanks for the suggestion!
First game posted on Galaxy for a few weeks now that I've really enjoyed. You've got a great foundation here. Keep it up. :)
for anyone who doesn't know galaxy has a menu called game tweaks which lets you resize the game itself so that it fits your screen better. its in the open sidebar menu.
I really like these style of games where you have too manage resources and time
also I recommend having dialog be a certain color if its a new message then being the dull gray if its a repeat message I didn’t realize that there would be new messages after the first loop and missed them and I would want to restart or load an old save if I could but it would take too long to get back to that first loop
Honestly the survival type is really fun. Plus this one you don't have to over calculate every second... fantastic. I really hope you make a lot more updates to content and would love to see everything you have to offer.
you should also add an option in the settings that can color cooridnate actions. for better readability
love this short prologue, wish to see more, but the ending "Congratulations!" screen buttons don't work.
Fun game though it'd be nice to have access to the QoL choices that a lot of its counterparts have like "Stop before completion" and "Queue until full".
developer response: I do plan to add more features like that in the next major version. I gave myself a deadline of 2 weeks to make this 'demo' version, so a lot of the less vital features got cut.
Died of not having exactly 10 water while taking 5 water pouches when leaving.
I'm a sucker for loop stories and especially games. And this one is really good. I'd still say that Immortality Idle and Idle Loops: Squirrel Edition are better, but only because they are bigger. If you stick with it, this will definitely be a contender for the top.
PS: To the user going by the user name "TheDutchman88". You might want to look into bringing more water along on the rover in a form of not just pouches, but also bottles. You also might want to skip visiting the distraction on the way. Besides, more loops just means more experience. Enjoy the journey, grab that bag of marshmallows, and whistle a tune a fellow traveler might pick up with a signalscope. In other words, go play Outer Wilds. It's a good game.
Really interesting can't wait to see a full version.
Just had to do a hard reset because I saved It's really good but an early way to force reset would be nice
Reloading last check point caused a glitch where I had permanent access to food synthesizer and water pouches. The start new loop button doesn't do anything.
Cool game, I can't wait to see it get updated.
