This was pretty cool. I really hope you end up having the opportunity to work more on it. If not, well then thank you for this prologue experience.

developer response: Glad you enjoyed it! I have started work on v0.2, and hope to release it sometime in the next couple weeks (depending how many bugs I run into).

RAHHHHH WE LOVE COMPELLING STORIES WITH SICKASS PLOT TWISTS!!!!!

This game has that rare, incredible sense of what makes suspense work, GOD I didn't expect the story to be so good all the way through. Can't wait to see what comes next, but I'm grateful for what I've got :D

Crossed the dam in 11 loops, with two early restarts. I really enjoyed this game! It's the only game I found that scratches the same itch that Idle Loops did. I found three oddities/bugs that I haven't seen mentioned yet. 1) The environmental effects of drilling the obelisk stuck around if I stopped drilling but didn't leave the room. In addition, I think that the heat layer kept drawing power even after I left the mining wing. 2) On my first trip to the dam, the rover gained +2 power per second instead of losing it. I didn't install the generator. The next trip, with memorized paths, didn't have this issue. 3) Installing the generator in the rover before leaving the first base prevented the "leave with rover" option from working. Had to restart early there.

Overall, it was a great experience. I am eager to see what else you come up with.

developer response: Glad you're enjoying it!
1) I suspect this is because the mining events stop being visible once that action is stopped, but time freezes as soon as you have no actions in your queue. So unless you progress a different action, you're frozen in the moment before the event is removed. So it is a bug, but only a minor visual one.
2) Whoops. I'll have to double check that!
3) Ohhh, that may explain an issue that lots of people have been having, but I haven't had the chance to track yet. If correct, that'll make that a LOT easier to fix.
Thanks for the reports! (And extra thanks for checking what had already been reported first ;))

PLEASE keep this game going

Something i've been noticing is that sometimes the "timed actions" (for example the water recycler) speed up by multiple times, to the point that i couldn't even keep up with using up the actions and it was already at maxed. this usually happens somewhere around Laurion, with almost all of the actions there.

developer response: Mmm, someone else reported something similar. I had assumed it was something to do with saving/loading while the timers are running causing the timer to be advanced twice per tick, but if it's consistently around Laurion then must be something else...

Also, if you (or anyone else) would like to help out with future testing, I've set up a discord server to help organise everything! https://discord.gg/nMqMxKw6Y5

so glad loop now exists (i managed to softlock myself, cant die cant progress unless thats intended when reaching the facility)

developer response: There are some places you can deliberately get softlocked, which is part of why the Loop Now was added.

not relevant note: you can still die of dehydration if you have an item that gives more water than you can hold

developer response: Talos, but yes, those are their names.

Possibly found a bug. I reached a point where I left in the rover, but didn't have enough water to open the containment crate, the game offers for me to go back to last checkpoint which I do, but the game now doesn't progress. I click on the auto-pause, pause and Running button but nothing changes. If I refresh I go back to the point where I can try to open the containment crate and the game does progress, but obviously results don't change.

developer response: Definitely a bug causing the failing to progress after loading a checkpoint. I'll try to get a bugfix out today. Thanks for the report.

I have the same issue as Acamaeda, where there is nothing to do but fill the air tank. I also for some reason can't actually copy the save string from the export box. I can select it, but for some reason ctrl+c doesn't work and right click doesn't bring up any options menu.

I'm having the same issue as Acamaeda. I tried to copy and paste the save file but I couldn't paste the save from the game into a DM or comment. That seems to be a WebGL thing.

Ok, so, why can't I find the water recycler in Laurion in a following run after having installed it once?

So, I've restarted to get a purer run, one without the bugs, and I noticed that upon studying the map, the next run forces you to use the tunnel (I had checked the empty container in a previous run) instead of giving you the option

developer response: The tunnel is always the better option. The only reason the old route is offered is so that a player who hasn't revisited the rover yet can do so and see the lore there.

Finding the container for the 2nd time has a minor typo, "surprised how heart flutters", seems you missed the word "your"

And after ending the 2nd loop, it said I didn't even get out to the abandoned rover, despite the fact I had!

Still going through chapter 0 since you fixed the issue I had the first time I played, but figured I'd report these

developer response: Typo fixed for next version. I thought I'd fixed the death messages before release but apparently I missed some gaps. Thanks for the report.

I love the this game and the concept, played it when it was first released and have been checking daily for this update. but I have one question, how does is the loop xp gained? I do know that it takes affect after each run.

developer response: When you loop, all Xp you've gained in your skills are added to your loop skills at 1:1. Loop skills require the same amount of Xp for each level, but only give 1% (additive) per level, whereas regular skills give 5% (additive) per level. Your loop multiplier is then multiplied by your regular multiplier to give your final multiplier.

This is currently exactly how Xp works in Increlution. I may tweak this in future, depending how I want progression to work longer term, but it was a good/simple base to start from.

Loved it. The thread of death and running out of resources is a cool feature. Just wish it would be harder - it's just clicking on resources and waiting for the main task to complete after a while.

developer response: Glad you enjoyed it! I do plan to increase the complexity and difficulty as you get further in the story. What's there now is effectively just the tutorial.

great game.but i seem to have encountered a bug, reached the dam the 2nd and used the action to extend it but nothing happened and the event for it to happen by itself is 6 minutes away without me having an option of even waiting for it

developer response: Thanks for the report - I'll check that for the bugfix.

seemingly unable to leave in rover best guess is due to making also cant seem to copy export codes

developer response: As in there's no 'Leave In Rover' action, the action won't start, or the action won't finish? Also, do you mean you can't leave the first base or second base?

Game's really good but there are a few things that don't quite make sense like if I've parked in the second station I should be able to dismount the generator and install it with much less time since it's already inside, same with installing the water recycler, instead of having to go outside on the rover to drag the generator in and drag the water recycler out. I thought that'd be a clever way to save some time but actually spent longer from having to ride the rover back out.

developer response: Ooo, that is a very good point. I hadn't really considered doing that, since parking the rover was a very late addition and only really intended to allow recharging it. I'll see if I have time for that in the bugfix, otherwise it'll definitely being next major version. Glad you're enjoying it and thanks for the suggestion!
