comments for Nullified Depths
sort: go backDo the main layers interact with each other at all?
developer response: Bad question
You wouldn't have asked this if you had gone further.
I'm really sorry for all the bugs I have created in my game... I have let you down. Pleaseeeeeeeee continue to play this game UwU
Subatomic layer keeps staying unlocked on Universe resets and I'm not sure whether this is intended ... At least at first, there's no reason to bother with the other layers as I can just keep doing Subatomic alone.
Depth 4 is definitely the best so far. Getting better with time. Depth 2 was an absolute slog.
developer response: slog(x) is indeed very slow xd
Can't see the cost of upgrades, especially as more producers unlock: the info gets cut off at the bottom of the window area.
developer response: fixed
The universe reset doesn't seem to be working as intended, the first one I did only took away my last 3 Subatomic upgrades and put me back to ~1e10 relative mass, the next one didn't reset anything nor any of the subsequent ones, I am now sitting on a pile of 10000 universes with all the current depth upgrades bought.
I've reached time, and I do like that space and time are quite different, but time is a bit more frustrating to play.
there is a soft lock issue of having space metabar running when you do a uni reset
developer response: No there isn't

Progression after prestige feels about 5-10x too slow, to the point where I'm just stopping after my offline time is gone, and coming back the next day. One idea would be to allow us to choose how fast to burn offline time, based on what time multiplier we want.
just did a universe reset and i now have 0 space foams so i can't do anything in the space layer. this didn't happen on previous universe resets.
I also did a space reset and have 0 space foams. Btw. I don't know if it's related but the console says Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'addEventListener') at main.js:210:37
I reached Subatomic and the layers are still completely disconnected. It feels like playing three separate games.
why do i start with dot automation instantly?
The Temporal Amplifier upgrade's text is a little deceptive. The description says "Desc: First 4 columns of upgrades' base +1.03." but the effect after buying it once is +0.03.
It did sound like it'd be too good, it being a slight writing error makes more sense.
dots production seems to be hardcoded to 1 whenever you go below 10 space foams which makes it a bit annoying to buy max on them after resets and early on
Dunno if this has been asked, but what does storing multiplier even do?
having played it until the end of the current content, I think I can safely say that it is quite nice, despite the lingering bugs. I just wish that there was less repetitive grinds at some sections of the game, which could have been solved with either cheaper universe upgrades (mainly for the 40+ universe upgrades in the second row or the 2k+ upgrades in the 3rd/4th row), or by giving a small buff like log10(universes) to all resources. Currently, grinding out not 2 not 3 but sometimes 5-6 times for a single upgrade without skipping any cheaper one and without any difference feels exhausting
nvm this game is slow paced as all hell. here's my recommendation:
make the x2 from the prestige upgrades a x4
make 1x8 5% per second instead of 1%
make it so the more mass you have the more universes you get, otherwise the chemical layer is almost completely useless
Yeah, with chemical resetting too (Even though its unlock doesn't reset), and that the universe upgrades don't feel like they're functioning, I think I'll wait a little bit, see if the balance is fixed.
A suggestion for the dev: When your debug multipliers are active (if they exist, I'm hoping the rough balance is because of that), I'd suggest having it track your unlock times and multiplying the deltas by the time upgrade, so you can get a rough idea of when an average player would be reaching the same thing, that way you have some raw numbers to help with balancing in a more 'automatic' way!)
This isn't untrue, but it did take me a long time to get to Depth
