comments for One Trillion Free Draws
sort: go backDucdat your games just keep getting better. This game is hilarious. The art matches is hilarious. The UI is great and responsive. Great work. I'm excited to see the MS Paint art of the other cards.
Some automation would be nice but cool game either way!
filter would be so much beter if i could hide maxed, non upgrdeable
developer response: There's an EX card that does just this :D
Amazing concept, I love this game... and you never realize how much a trillion ACTUALLY IS until you play this game O-O
A good concept, but feels a bit unpolished. The WIP art cards could do with filling in, and I've now come across two cards that are connected to lower rarity cards, but the name used for those lower rarity cards isn't the same as what they're actually called. I.E. The progress as well feels staggeringly slow, even before that I've seen folks mention in other reviews. There are long stretches where new mechanics don't get introduced, where you're just pulling cards to whittle away at the total draw count. Also, it took me a while to notice that the upgrade buttons for each card slowly fill with grey as you reach the point where you can upgrade them, and I think it might be worth adjusting how that is displayed.
The gives a start of a pack of 0 cards. Download your save before it's too late!
Protips (no real spoilers):
- If you can't get any new cards, make sure you've bought everything in the shop. Then bought everything in the info. Then got all the achievements. Then got 2nd starts if new cards. Then just know some cards have 1/15 droprate of others of same tier.
- To get 2nd row achievements you need to do mathematically useless things with skills. Check what you haven't done yet because it's obviously useless and do it. And back up your save before that.
- If your Gain card doesn't do anything, buy the new info plate to understand why
- I have 3 push requests already, @ducdat0507 please check them. Anyone else can do too, I may make userscripts out of them if you want e.g. spammy Notifications as every other gacha game has. Wait, notifications are not in a PR yet... Ping me here if you want them anyways
I like the mspaint art (a guy below seems to dislike it), the music is good, the infobook is fun (who would have thought infomation is money in this era), amazing game so far.
4d 21h to clear :) nice game
I played the game for about 1 hour and I quite enjoyed it, but it got waaaay too slow for me, even with an autoclicker to make the card opening and reveal faster. Tweaks might be needed.
The "spam click to open the pack and reveal the cards" thing gets old very quickly. Unfortunately right now this game really wants you to use an autoclicker or get RSI, which is a pretty big red flag.
Suggestion: allow the player to press space instead of clicking to speed up the animation, and/or allow the click/key to be held down rather than spammed, or just speed the damn thing up a bit so the game isn't unplayable if you don't want to spam click.
A homestuck reference? In my unrelated 2025 idle game? It's more likely than you think.
This game is so PEAK! Love it 10.1/10
When you get the option, pull on Fire. TRUST ME.
how are active skills unlocked? i've tried 200m+ factioned summons and haven't unlocked one yet. am i just unlucky?
I love that one of the few cards that does have art is a homestuck ref lmaoooooo
Careful, autosave is unreliable. Takes the fun out of it when you arbitrarily lose hours of progress because your machine rebooted.
Just finished this last night after 19 days and change. I did enjoy it, but I echo a lot of sentiment that after drawing the first billion, the game loop is fairly same-y and slow. I kept checking to see if any new EX cards or anything became available, but I appeared to have everything. The last couple hundred billion was just hitting Burst, Freeze Drop, and the grass and moon powers for each draw for 20-30B cards. I still enjoyed it, and would consider playing again if an update added something new for the endgame.
I've opened about a million cards and just can't figure out how to speed up progression. waiting a long time to open a pack to upgrade one thing and then wait a long time to open another pack isn't engaging gameplay. good concept but hard to be interested in the game
This one's good, very happy to hear that you're planning to add more to it.
