sort: go backIs there supposed to be a MASSIVE timewall at 1e50 Reset Points?
wth is going on with c2? Neither can I complete it nor get upgrade 32, nor even persuasion 3 in reasonable time (~10 mins idle). I get that it's kind of a satire of bad game design, but I assumed it would be more playable?
I never thought that an incremental game would have such low performance. This game turned my phone into a bomb. After just one minute of playing, my phone was already burning me up. There were also some weird bugs where if I bought something just a little too fast, all the values would go to a weird "E10". Also, the game crashes frequently and I have to refresh the page again and again.
Possibility of it being part of the commentary aside, Between the 1e50 timewall, the cryptic line of "more~~~ upgrades.(?)", and the mention of unseen discouragement points, I kind of wonder if some feature didn't unlock like it was supposed to.
I messed around with devSpeed a bit to see if it smoothed out after, but no. You face the same 1e50 wall after getting 3rd Persuasion Point, and there's another massive wall when 1e500 is in sight.
When you reach ~e50 reset points, you will unlock the reset energy. this is one of the worst things in this game. You had to wait for a long time to buy the upgrades. At 6 persuasion points, the points get nerfed and unlock a layer. This layer is very boring, you need click for a lot of time to buy upgrades. When you have 8 persuasion points, you had to reset for life many times without QoL, and some life milestones are have both boost and nerf. Finally I reach 10 persuasion points, unlock the combat power. For my disappointment, there are almost no QoL. I don’t want to play this game again.
Ive found that the tree listed me as an author. Exactly i am but it does not express the full detail - this tree is a extension of my demo tree i made 3y ago (yes with the early 3 esc points and the 1e50+ timewalls xd) but do not contact me about this - most content is made by the uploader and i am not responsible for this anymore. and i really appreciates your voices for weakening down the reset energy wall as i am playing this
∞.Write the description in another language (Chinese) then translate it to English with mostly machine translation without polishing the word usage and grammar to cause a havoc when you try to read stuff.
It's ass, but that's the point :D
1 star, I failed at the first timewall.
Recommend you make it so that you cant tab into another page and have to stay and watch the screen for your points to accumulate.
I created an account just for this, but the reason that this has such bad performance is because I don't know how, but at some point you screw up and add a string to the reset time, this causes every reset time to get string appended to the reset time value which ends up with trying to save 30 mb of reset times every minute. For anyone suffering from constant freezes the only recommendation I can give you is to do a manual reset of the top layer to get the reset time set back to the number 0.
I think this game discouraged me from something.
There seem to be an issue with the saving function, as the game freeze for a good 10-15 second every time it saves.
i guess here's some way to make the game feel horrible while not being annoying: just add an ability to accelerate time and add a time skipped counter saying "time wasted due to bad game design: xx:xx:xx", at least it could be unlockable once you get to the timewall content
Surprisingly well balanced until 1e50 reset point timewall, I just set devspeed to 10x and passed it 5 minutes later but without that it'd be very painful. But that's what I expect from a game with a name like this.
@incraldanerd yeah, I get it, but I'd like to understand what I'm getting myself into. Up until that point I was able to make steady progress measured with seconds. Suddenly, all of that changes and I have no clue what to do to progress. Is this game a playable satire, or actual bad game design showcase? If it's supposed to be bad game design, why was the first ~30mins so playable?
Or maybe I'm doing something wrong at this point and missing some alt progression path? My point is that the game doesn't really make it clear what it's supposed to be.
EX: Bad translation.
If you use an autoclicker on unlock next tier of Condensed Energy you get E10 on all currencies in the reset points tab and can't buy anything, I'm glad I had made a backup save else I would have had to hard reset.
normally no any time wall will stop me with more than 1 SECOND with 1e9x speed, but it take 3 SECONDS to pass 1e50 wall
@MoldyBread Funnily enough, been sitting in the background for about an hour and went from like 2e47 to 7e49 in roughly that timespan, so MASSIVE is an understatement, but putting on a good movie, or switching to your other tab with another incremental game as we all do, and it'll be kinda manageable!
@Smitty2537 it seems like it, im there, see no other way to progress. and MASSIVE is an understatment, it will take hours to pass it, so it fits with game name
This game is good as a commentary piece, but the actual gameplay suffers quite a bit for the sake of delivering the message. Maybe that's the point, but I feel like there has got to be a way to do both.
