comments for Prime Time Idle
sort: go backEven though this is gen ai, it's surprisingly good (atleast for my standards)
i like the concept it was fun kinda short though but would recommend
vibe coded lol
just goes to show that having the gen-ai tag doesn't make a game bad (still kind of a bad omen tho since it implies a lack of effort) 5/5 would NaN again
developer response: Definitely not a lack of effort - took me dozens of hours of work. I'm just a crap programmer, so the AI was writing the code as I was designing and refining the game. The intent was for this to be a "good" use of AI - one that is human mediated and finely-controlled. This was not "make a game that does this", this was "here's the full design spec, follow it".
Props to developer for adding next (OCD ppl like me)
very cool baseline, sad it's so short
Game thats about things you can hear: must have sound on (optional)
Okay i know it doesnt say it like that but it feels like that.
my biggest gripe with this is that it just needs better balancing, esp in later parts
i am definetly waiting 100k years to sync all the primes
i have not willingly enjoyed something that came from AI as much as this. good vision. good work. if you want to work on a music project in the future needing trombone or keyboard let me know. :)
developer response: To be fair, the AI was only writing exactly the code I told it to. It made no decisions about the game, it only converted my specs into code because I'm a crappy programmer. :) But thanks, and I'll let you know!
I played pretty mindlessly and for the most part but I can only agree with the other comments. There's probably some fine tuning that could be done better via manual coding but despite that I think one can notice when there's actual vision behind one of thes ai games, I would love to see a fully human made version of this but even then I think it manages to have potential.
This is a nice quick game (at least for now), although I managed to break the factor point system after getting all upgrades except the last one and spamming the "buy next" button.
It is very fun and it somehow break after about 4000 levels :)
I really like how you went out of your way to quantize the sound effects for bar filling. Pleasant little generative bleeps and bloops.
At around lvl 4000, primes break and produce 0. A short but nice game
ngl it feels too fast to properly enjoy
I kinda wish the music actually played a tune once you get it going rather than random sounds but it's alright otherwise.
My ODC is blessed by the majestic sounds that are entering my ears
i NaN'ed the game :P i vote that for being the end game :) short, and i liked it.
After decillion, all notation is identical

Game breaks after 1.79e308 (I wonder why)
