comments for Epic Idlenture
sort: go backWish there was a way to sell on mobile :)
developer response: We added a way to sell items by dragging them to the bottom of the inventory. Due to how new game versions are handled on itch.io, this update will most likely make old saves unavailable. Sorry about that!
Nevermind. Figured out the reloading. Maybe I need to click a little more thoughtfully
this seems like an epic idle game
The quick reload mechanic with the cursor pistol is an amazing idea!!
Thanks for adding a way to sell for mobile :)
Played this game for about 100h (yes, 3% of this game‘s entire playtime, but most of that was afk)
Here‘s my feedback:
- There doesn‘t seem to be any difference between the first 20 floors and the randomly generated ones. If there is none, I‘m just stupid lol
- I agree that we need better drop rates for rarer items.
- I‘d like more attributes. The menu just looks… unfinished. There are no real “builds” here, you just upgrade each attribute equally. Except for aim if you don‘t play actively. (also why do we need to unlock vitality from the main upgrade menu, it looked like “vitality upgrades” were a new big feature)
- Maybe offline gains? Or some form of auto-shoot? Would make idle play a bit less grindy.
- Item upgrades are cool. Most games don‘t really do that.
- I know this is a free demo, but the game‘s just kinda short. Made it to floor 20 in like 2-3 hours. (it was fun to grind for floor 50 though)
- Uhhh prestige? Probably the easiest way to expand this game. (number go up = good incremental game :P)
- A lot of people might disagree with this but OH MY GOD the music is great. That‘s literally the only reason I played (afk’d) this game for as long as I did.
- Having played incremental games for multiple years now, I know this one’s gonna be great when it actually releases.
(Oh and fun fact if I play on mobile the description looks like “3 attributes to upgrade and customize your bu”)

good game, really want to play the full version of this at some point. 5/5
This was awesome! Really unique way to do an incremental dungeon crawler. Looking forward to the full game :D
the dragonborn scale splitter sword reminds me a lot of the synanceia sword model from destiny 2 its awesome
This game seems pretty sweet. It would be nice if there was also an indicator on the cursor that showed you were low on ammo, to sort of subtly telegraph to the player to be mindful of their clicks so they don't mess up the reload. The little reload bar on the cursor is nice, though maybe a bit small.
Healing boost does not seem to work. I have it on a green helm(20%) and blue gloves(25%) yet my heal does 600 when I have 5003 hp which is still 12%. Unless it only works with vampirism proc.
developer response: Thanks for reporting the issue, I'll look into this!
I'm not sure if I'm doing the "click in the zone to reload" thing wrong or if it is just broken, maybe some more clarity on how to trigger it / a more noticeable sign it worked could be useful?
Also itch updates shouldn't result in old saves being unavailable unless I'm misremembering how things work. Maybe someone else can confirm or invalidate this claim though

there needs to be a way to sell on mobile as theres no right click on the screen

really enjoyed what there is so far. very short at the moment though.
Right click to sell items you don't want.
how do I sell or get rid of the items I don't want?
great demo great showcase on how the game will play

- The Fury's Mighty Grasp item seems like it probably isn't supposed to go in the amulet slot
- Higher rarity items seem to have excessively low drop rates. I only saw a single natural Rare item before beating the game. That would be fine on its own, but when you consider I was wearing four Legendary items with the Loot Find stat which I got from Item Quality upgrades, said upgrades make going for any naturally high-rarity items seem like a pointless endeavor. You could perhaps try limiting quality upgrades to one per item? That would make it much more impactful when a rare item drops.
- The whole time playing I kept clicking on non-interactive things in the dungeon hoping for something to happen. Something as simple as props shaking a bit when clicked would make the world feel much more alive. The set piece with the red-eyed statue for example is really cool, but it doesn't feel like it matters at all.
- It would be nice if ammo refilled and skill cooldowns reset after death or floor move.
- The lighting looks great. More of that please!
developer response: Thanks for the feedback! We're planning to make some big changes to the existing systems for the full version of the game, and we'll do our best to improve drop rates as much as possible :)
