sort: go backactual isekai title lmao
This is not the 625th game, the numbers lie https://galaxy.click/stats
100%'d both available chapters. I enjoy the game, but I just can't shake the feeling that there's so much untapped potential here.
The vast majority of the game is working through lock-and-key puzzles ("to get ending A, I need feature F, which I get by doing XYZ..."), which is fine, it works. The problem is that a lot of the game feels shallow because of it. Take chapter 1, even if venom had a use, it would have a singular use. You wouldn't be able to imbue the sword with venom AND poison foes to reduce the power requirement AND create a new type of minion, it would be one thing.
Another shallow feeling comes from the lack of impact on the game from your choices in a mechanical sense, I could have 10,000 movement, it'll still take me 3.2s to partly explore a forest.
I was also really disappointed to see the exact same prestige options in chapter 2 as in chapter 1. I understand you don't want the game to be a grindfest, but at least give me the option of additional starting minions or materials or something. There's also a much more fundamental issue with the game of needing to do the exact right things in the exact right order to get the ending you want. Some options you have to take early on regardless of your intended ending or you get slain, and some options are literally just there to bait you into choosing the wrong thing (e.g. getting a second wing and devouring bats).
Frankly, I would've much preferred to have seen a revamped chapter 1 (or at least expanded) rather than indicating that this is the intent for the game going forwards.
But like I said at the start, I do enjoy it. The overall puzzle of the game is neat and I enjoy the theming, I'm just seeing echoes of a much better game that doesn't exist.

bug: Unfortunately, on the newest update the game is freezing after major actions (I'm on Firefox). After getting hit by the truck in the intro, the games freezes on the black screen for 15-30s (if it needs to load here, there should be a loading bar/spinner, not a black screen) and once I'm in the game it takes 1-5s to finish processing any action (game freezes on action completion)
This is quite the interesting game. I don't think that I ever found a fun-to-play demon lord game up to this point.
Immediately starting the game with a loud screeching is very unpleasant.
This is a neat demo finishable under one hour. I do have some nitpicks about the game that I wish could be addressed:
- 3 looks too much like 5 under that font.
- Dead ends should be indicated after reaching them (so I can track which paths I have not explored yet)
- Harnessing all 500 crystals gave nothing :(
- Clicking on the upgrades to spend essence on shouldn't loop it, that got me to spent too much on time wrap.
- Doing random keysmashes on a test run gave me test_5118 and test_2618, should consider removing.
- fear/venom/strength are stats that don't do anything
Overall, I think the plot/story of the game is slightly to shallow for my taste, but I think is an understandable direction to take (given the light novel title). I echo the top comment's point about repetitive game play loops - I would recommend a "time dilation" approach like Terraformental, where the in game time is unchanged but it completes faster to the player.

Why can't I save mid-reincarnation instead of reincarnating by pressing the ESC key or being slain to save?
major issue: attempting to play the game crashes the browser
I'm experiencing the lag upon action completion as well, but it does not occur when what I'm completing isn't on screen and I can't see the white flash with resource summary/numbers effect.
Okay, so after finding the first of three ways to finish the first chapter, I have decided that I am done with this game for at least a bit of time.
The game has an interesting concept. I enjoy the time loop mechanic. It is a bit repetitive but it's also fun to find new paths and determine which ones can be skipped. Unfortunately this game also breaks the cardinal sin of web games. It freezes when its not the active tab. All of the best incremental and idle games work fine when using other tabs. Also essence as prestige is fine but prestige powers need to be permanent boosts and one of them absolutely needs to be shortening the time that actions take. like a .1 % increase for each time the action has been completed. Also nothing in the game is explained. What does knowledge do? What does fear do? Who knows because it's never explained and there no tooltips. Needs a decent amount of work still but has the base to be a really interesting game.
Generally - it starts off with a LOT of questions. However, paying a modicum of attention, you quickly get a sense for how to progress.
Overall, I'd say this was a great shot at a game that encourages "figuring it out" while not being overly complex. 7/10. Definitely some QOL to resolve, but you're headed in a strong direction. Keep it up!

i'm sorry but I just can't take the game seriously with that title
Taking it unseriously: looks nice! only have the ending tho

Will future updates continue to reset my save?
Regardless of the answer to that question, anything available as both a web game and a download should have an export/import function.

i feel like the biggest thing this game lacks, is a reason to do stuff in particular orders, feels like just explore for the best route initially and then do it
like, as long as this thing is part of the path, doesn't matter when i do it, also it would just make sense if being stronger lets you finish a fight faster

Note to others: You can't get enough power to beat , so don't try. (The max is ~)
Nicely developed taster, I especially like the different endings, but it's a shame that the part of the tree is a bit underdeveloped and you can't get enough power to beat without one of the specific endings. I'd also prefer having a use for every stat you gain, I imagine you have plans for venom and strength in the full game, but it's a bit of a feels bad moment when you realise there's no payoff for them here.
But overall, it's well presented, well balanced, and a neat game.

Game loop is not satisfying at all. Not clear how you gain essence. Also not obvious that the "accelerated world time" just speeds up the game without providing any character benefit. The worst part is that it keeps crashing on me, and with no save or autosave mid-run I lose the entire run.
@the__chalabaia I got dungeon via Skellingtons->Fairies->Mana track.
Prestige tracks feel underwhelming, and largely about gaining more prestige for the same work, rather than making future runs easier.
Fun concept though, looking forward to seeing where it goes from here.

Though, I like that the game has strategy to it
