comments for Sunsave Demo
sort: go backthis is good but the return to skill tree after the stage is laggin my potato
Don't make the game fullscreen by default, please
developer response: Okay! Thanks for your feedback!!
Just fyi, the upgrade tree is really laggy when you drag it around
developer response: Sorry about the issue, it’s only happening in the web version of the game. On Steam, everything is normal!
At the rate my killing potential is increasing I don't think I'll ever buy the spawn rate upgrade, I'm still nowhere close to clearing out the field.
Wow! This game has really improved since I last played it, although it does seem like you get a lot of green points when there aren't many upgrades that use it. 4/5
i can upgrade my aura in this game hell yeah
developer response: yeahh!!
Really like this. Will the full version be a free on steam or will it cost money?
developer response: “I’m glad you liked it! The game will be paid on Steam, but the price will be very affordable!
i really like the vaporwave aesthetic. the sounds are also quite nice and it felt good to watch the various enemy death effects. the upgrade screen is very laggy for some reason. i felt the lack of a coin sink in lategame. the mission for killing blue enemies gives pitiful rewards compared to what you get from just playing a round. i don't understand why aura requirements to get a rad increase so quickly, especially as there are no other ways to get rads -- i expected killing a previously-killed boss to give a rad. also, once i beat prestige 3, i got a bunch of those star thingies every time i completed a prestige, which seems like a bug.
developer response: Thank you for reporting the aura issue and the star bug!
Very fun game, satisfying upgrades. I just wish I could exit a run somehow (maybe I can but missed how?)
Overall good for a demo.
Content suggestion:
- There was another similar game I couldn't remember the name (more active play) based on space ships had different ships so you could create strategies. Maybe different type of planets/moons could be added.
Demo experience:
- My manual shooting was somehow very inefficient compare to auto shooting, so I wasted some time there.
- Auto shooting wasn't consistently working every round, sometimes it didn't start for ~4 seconds and sometimes even shoot the enemies not entered into play screen.
- Maybe I missed how I could get "rad" because not every 100% aura gave rad or I didn't understand what aura does.
- Magnet skill for increasing radius for collecting items didn't feel much difference.
- Only once I was able to recover after getting hit by enemies, maybe some adjustments
I did enjoy playing this. For a demo overall balance doesn't look too weird. It looks promising.

well... it was definitely something... I kept randomly dying with no idea why.

developer response: Thanks for letting me know! I’ll reduce the amount of aura required to evolve and increase the gains from upgrades!
