The game screen should be black until you unlock Cyanomancy!

developer response: Hahah, that's great! Maybe unlocking Cyanomancy let's you change the background color, but the only options are other shades of blue? A few more options for the dark/light settings might be nice...

I am devastated that there's no acknowledgement of endgame, but that's really just because the worldbuilding is actually quite good. Well played.

developer response: There is an end of content screen, though it could be a bit easier to trigger... but double-check you can't build any more house upgrades and that you've done everything in the library. There are a few things there easy to miss. I'll keep tweaking, hopefully get the ux down better.

Approaching the magic tower doesn't unlock anything it just says "magic locus lets you approach" and nothing happens, end of game or bug?

developer response: That's the end, for now. I should have more content in a few days, after I chew through some of the QOL suggestions I've gotten. Thanks for playing!

Fantastic game, felt like I was playing Theory of Magic again for the first time. Excited to see where you take this project. Pacing was okay but having a system to mark old conversations as done would be nice and having a better way to see what is causing passive income than hovering over a thing you just made every time to see if it does anything. Some items should have a better indication of what they will provide for the player, the lockbox was a good example but I know that a lot of players would like to know exactly how many more purses they will be able to hold before they spend the coin on it.

developer response: Yeah... I've been considering 'new' conversations too. Currently, they show 'new' until you mouse over them, but I think that needs to be until you click them. As for better indications on what stuff does, having the tooltip show 'one lockbox' probably isn't the most helpful, I'll see if I can tweak that a bit too. Thanks for the feedback! I'll add these notes to my next update.

I honestly have no idea what's going on but I absolutely love the vibe and design. It's an incredibly refreshing feel compared to many recent games!
I just realized that the game has tooltips? It'd be super helpful if those didn't take so long to appear, I only discovered it by accident as I was about to tab out (I'm dumb lol)

developer response: I'll take that under consideration... I do need to tweak the tooltips, especially the opacity, I think. Honestly, a week or so ago I was playing a game where the tooltips popped up instantly and were huge, and that might have influenced me too far in the other direction.

Just a suggestion - please try shrink the save size. Currently it's 299500 bytes but this site's cloud save system has a limit of 256000.

developer response: Guess it's time to bite the bullet and do it, huh... I didn't realize there was a max size. hopefully people won't be too mad about me breaking saves.

EDIT: Should be better. Old savestrings might even still sorta work. Let me know if it gives you trouble.

I liked it, I need more. I want to know what happen after the curent endgame. I love to have enough space for everything in the house is amazing.

developer response: By things, do you mean the item counters on the left? I'll look into that, making a tooltip for those should be doable.

Edit: I've made tooltips for a bunch more stuff. Hopefully they're useful!

I seem to be missing Knowledge - Thalassomancy, which is odd since I've completed all content currently.

developer response: That is odd! You get that from giving the mage at the docks some Deep Water - you could try running through that again and see if it appears.

Been playing each update so far, and I do like how it's slowly expanding. I also appreciate that it does tell you at end when you have completely finished everything with the gauges and such.
Can't wait to see what happens next!

Just want to let the dev know you if you donate the kingly blues to the library before you get the dimensional room you will be locked out of getting it because you can't make kingly blues anymore.

developer response: You should be able to make more if you have enough rules of cyanomancy... I'll look into this, that sounds like a bug.

EDIT: I've made that button harder to disappear in the next update - hopefully that will help. If it's still not working, I'm not sure how the bug is triggered.

seems fun, but would like it more if the game worked when the tab isn't open as well. otherwise very nice

developer response: I just turned on 'background processing', but I don't think that affects the web version. To do it 'right' I think I need to implement timestamps, which might take a while. I'll bump it up my feature list, though.

Looks promising, I've always loved this type of incremental game. i must admit I find the dripfeed of updates a bit frustrating, as I completed the 7.1 update pretty quickly. I hope the developer doesn't take this as criticism, as it is a decidedly "me" problem and I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for this one. Keep up the good work!

developer response: Yeah, the updates are a bit of a trickle... I should probably focus more on numbers and less on text. :P Still, I'm glad you're enjoying it. :)

unless there is a way to get into butterfly magic i think im finished but i havent got an end of content screen. ( got the dream locus, got all house upgrades and all items for house, reread all the library books, looked at everywhere in town ect.

developer response: Yeah... my EOC screen clearly isn't working, I probably just need to put a button with a popup in. Thanks for letting me know!

Loving the updates! I think I've reached the current end of content; everything in my inventory is maxed, except floor space, which is sitting at 203/300. I've reached the new area that you mentioned in the most recent update, but yeah, I haven't gotten the end of content popup. I've dug through every submenu seeing if there's something I've missed, but I'm pretty sure I've gotten everything! I'm running in Safari, if that helps.

Anyway, it's a lovely and fun game so far, keep up the good work!

developer response: If you got to then you've gotten to the current end of content, yeah. I should just put an 'end of content' button there or something. :/

Floorspace... seems slightly variable, and I'm not sure why. Gonna keep pretending it's not, though, and just make sure there's plenty of extra. :P
