comments for Theory of Magic (Arcanum)

This was one of the better ones I've played, just wish it went a little further in depth. Albeit, it does take a while to get to the "end" of the game. You essentially get to a point where there's no more progress and gain resources forever to no end. The part I liked most was that you get to replay the game due to a mechanic and it can be vastly different depending on your choices.

I've loved this game for a long time; arcanum / ToM is a rare type of RPG that I wish there was more of. It's really great to see that it's coming to a more accessible location for new players to find. It's a bit of a shame that it isn't being actively developed anymore, because it has so much potential, but the game as it exists today is still a very fun way to spend a few days so it'll always be something that I recommend to others.

Arcanum has always been one of my favorite RPG focused incremental games. There's really nothing out there that offers anything quite like it in the genre, things come close but ultimately have different appeals from Arcanum. So I'd like to thank Lemur, Mathias, Mindedness, and the others that have worked on and maintained this game. 5/5

i love this game a lot, probably one of my top games to play. It's a little confusing at times with what to do to progress but otherwise pretty great!

love the game but im stuck right now on how to acquire the ability to produce more magic gems or level stats like water, as is i can only produce blood gems and hold arcane gems (cant make them except with one piece of furniture passively). the game seems to lack a sense of direction, but despite that it's easy to continue progressing even if there is no real apparent way to move forward. another point of confusion for me is that, after unlocking a halfway decent minion, i can't activate them, so that big investment i made is just wasted at the moment until i figure out how to actually utilize them (orc shaman, big upgrade from large mouse statwise)

ok Ima be real wth do I do I'm so confused I can't kill this stupid Rat King becuase Its healing is too strong

How do I get gems? Specifically how do I get nature gems? I chose herbalist class and need them for an upgrade, but it's not clearly stated how to get them. I'm getting gems from adventure, but they're all water gems, so I'm questioning whether I'm on the right path here.
