You forgot to absolutely do not wish list this game on steam.
I usually like this type of game, but lately there came a bit too much of them and it starts to get a bit boring. Same gameplay, same upgrade system, just other ballancing, and story. I don't really feel like playing them anymore and unlike tmt, exceptions are near impossible to create to it.
I think its time to let this type of game rest untill one much fresher comes.

when in fullscreen the mouse click location is vertically misaligned with the cursor position, above the cursor at the bottom of the screen and below at the top
also the graphics look kind of blurry and low res, like the resolution of the game is lower than my screen
@Termt ofc u one of those people. did you even lay through the game? harvesters exist pretty early, and they're really good once upgraded even a little bit... I hate people like u. didn't even play through the game just hating on nodelikes even though ppl can make whatever type of game they like.
i really just cant see how this is different enough from the tons of other nodelikes for me to want to play this and wishlist this on steam. its visually not very appealing, the balancing seems off, and gameplay-wise its just another "hover over thing and wait for it to explode", the game doesnt even ask you to, for example, aim or understand the attack timings to make runs more worth-while. this is just the most uninspired and mind-numbing rendition of a nodelike possible.
good game i like these types of games. well crafted.
developer response: Thank you!
I mean, the music's nice, but it quickly becomes repetitive. Can't afford any upgrades because they cost biomass, so I just have to sit here and press "continue" over and over?
Actual review:
It's pretty good! Nothing too revolutionary if you're a fan of nodelikes. It's well balanced between your actions and the workers, I never felt like I'd automated myself out of the picture. The ending felt a bit of a slog though - the core not really changing as it levels up doesn't make it very driving as a goal, and everything after ~level 14 was just "keep increasing upgrade levels until you've maxed them out". Then when you do hit level 20 it's just "good job! Now wishlist the game", not much celebration about it.
I realise this sounds quite negative overall, but if you're a fan of nodelikes, you'll very likely enjoy this one.

Instructions unclear, I pressed the quit button upon opening.
instructions unclear, I shall feed the virus until it becomes the new covid-19 killing off all of humanity with no cure in sight, just like I do in plague inc.
@Termt After completing the game, while yes it is annoying initially, it does quite quickly get better. However, it is never fully automated, and it always helps to manually collect biomass.
@Termt just get used to games with active gameplay, it doesn't even take an hour to beat the game.
Besides, some incrementals are meant to have much more player input than others. If you don't like the gameplay style, don't play it, instead of complaining to everyone about why you think it sucks. In fact, I'd argue that having too much QoL just makes the game feel like a complete waiting simulator, without much of a gameplay element at all. The optimal balance of automation and progression obviously varies from person to person, but quitting a game instantly because you can't find automation in the first 5 minutes just seems ridiculous. There are so many great games out there with a smaller automation element, proving my point that while QoL is important, it shouldn't be a first priority to look for to neither the player nor the developer. The fact that you quit because of a nonexistent lack of something is genuinely disappointing, especially considering that this isn't even that grindy of a game.
This game is decent, and I believe it was completely deserving of a place on galaxy.

@BritishBloke I'm "hating" on a design decision I heavily disagree with, I don't care if it's a nodelike or anything else. I played a couple of rounds, unlocked some things, hovered over future upgrades didn't see an unlock to automate it, and quit. I'm not going to play through yet another game where there's genuine doubt whether anything exists to remove this part of the tedium that shouldn't be to begin with. You say that this is part of nodelike games? It shouldn't be part of anything.
Those harvester things shouldn't be an unlock, no matter how early or late, it should be part of base QoL.

Urgh, another one of these games where the end screen doesn't have an auto pick-up... I hate that every single time.
Picking it up manually adds nothing to the gameplay experience for me. I genuinely do not understand why this basic QoL is missing more often than not.
