Is the art yours or ai coded? Its a nice style

developer response: Hi! it is made with ai, not generative AI in the classical sense. Each image is a series of SVG shapes that animate together. These were generated but polished a lot afterwards.

is it possible to automate firebird and where is the bear

developer response: Hi there!

I will respond to both comments in this one. These things are left "unknown" on purpose in the game design. However you are not the first one asking about it, so it might have to change in the future.

The whole game is build around the feelings i had in recent years of taking care of a depressed friend. Without going too much into detail almost every aspect of the game is a metaphore. I've so far left this out of the game/context so players can explore what it feels like for themselves, but this can also change in the future

Ok, I get that the proper/seemingly intended way to get enough flowers past the 1st expansion is through trading with the mole, given that I've found no other use for honey yet. But soon enough after that I need 5k+ for a single hex? Might just be me, but that feels like a biiit much. Oh... oops... I just spent 5k on a tile I can't even reach yet while dragging the map.
And I really wish scrolling would work in the shop/build menus. For a bit I thought it did, but I might've imagined it.
Also... where is this mole getting all these flowers?

developer response: Hi! thanks for the feedback, the yeild of flowers can be increased in some other ways like automating the fox with the suspiciously organized piles of rocks. But the pace is definatly slower then some other games on the platform.

About where the mole gets his flowers... He can't specify, but its from "some underground marketplace" ;)

As a fox I was under the assumption that you were using ai that destroys the environment but nvm ur cool

Awesome game btw!

developer response: Thanks! I think you're right about the environmental impact, and the world has a real challange on its hands on how the worlds gonna turn out with ai. But i recon we had the same issues when the internet itself came to be.

The text is hard to read (small font and low contrast). There's nothing to do after collecting 10 logs. The stars are required to progress, and there's no action to collect stars.

developer response: if the patches become thawed they will start generating flowers every few seconds, allowing you to start building other stuff soon!

This is a really nice little optimization game. I dont know if the low rating are the result of an earlier build where there was less polish or less content or it was buggy or something- or its just people bandwagoning the gen-ai tag, but Id recc this game to anyone. Few hours of pretty basic content- but enjoyable nontheless.

Dev- I would rec allowing users to turn off particle effects in the settings. im playing on my phone and it runs great but the particle effects from the fire bog things down. Also- it isnt exactly clear if tapping the fire actually does anything? Does it increase the % faster? warm surrounding ground faster? Proc flower growth faster?

developer response: Hey, thanks for the kind words and for playing :)

EDIT: I have added the toggle for the particle effects of the fire.

Toggling the particle effects is a great idea, and i'll definatly implement that soon. Tapping the fire is like "blowing" on the fire. i does increase the size and strength of the fire, therefore it radiates out more heat, increasing warmth faster in thawing tiles faster. The fire is kind of black box by design for now, but as with everything if feedback says it should change, it should probably change

Fabulous game, but can you also add importing and exporting with strings so that I can copy and paste it to save it easier?

developer response: Hi,

If more people end up wanting this i can surely do so, for now i dont want to make the save systems more complicated then it needs to be

Do like how the beaver's ponds each has their name and a modifier, would've liked the herons and others to have that too.
Anyway, I've now explored the entire map (finding a single mountain is annoying, but when you have a whole mountain range going it gets good), and I've only seen the bear twice. And apparently that's not enough visits for me to stuff him so full of honey he'll work for me. I assume it'd work like a marten, finally letting me move my excess honey into a stockpile?

What does the "lay a feast" do? Is there a benefit to hosting feasts? So far this game is very fun

developer response: Before the last update animals were temporary, you befriended them for X amount of hours. A feast would prolong the stay off all animals by 1 hour.

Since this was annoying and "Befriending for 1 hour" sounds wierd, i made animals stay permenantly, and just gave the feast a 20k flower reward as a temporary placeholder. And it unlocks a jounal entry if you care about those.

So at this point its not that usefull, and will be used for future content.

I wonder why the corner most tile is not heated up

developer response: I noticed it in early development and decided to keep it that way. Since the game is a metaphore for helping people with depression i like the feeling of "however good you do, a little always remains"
