This game is both boring and confusing. I think that vibe coding incrementals is a terrible idea. AI art placeholders I can deal with, but vibe coding kills the pacing and doesn't take into account any idle/active balance.
It's kinda fun, but i'm not really sure what i'm doing, just clicking randomly and prestiging every few minutes
What is a "contemplative" idle game? It's just numbers with fairly little to hang on to, what am I supposed to contemplate?
the points run away REALLY fast once you get some firmament upgrades.
Very explosive at some point, couldn't really tell when but I suddenly could max it out quickly.
The game's numbers break rather quickly with only a few purchases from the firmament. At first I thought that was purposeful, but then there just... weren't any more nodes. You can max the entire tree, prestige points, and firmament upgrades without much effort and then there's nothing left. Feels rather short and undercooked.
Taking the game as more of tech demo than a full game, I think there's some issues with balancing between the nodes. The multiplier nodes seem to be much stronger than any of the other trees. XP reduction per level in particular seems to not do much. Does it apply retroactively?
The resonance nodes seem cool in principle, but are pretty weak relative to their point cost and can't be moved after placement. It's also not clear the radius will increase when placing the first one. The nodes also keep their upgrades between resets, making the optimal way to upgrade them cumbersome i.e. spending all your points on just them and resetting repeatedly, then playing the game in earnest when you feel there's "enough" upgrades on them.
As for the firmament these are just all very strong game breaking upgrades. In particular, the game doesn't really seem to be balanced well for the "points per level" upgrades, which is understandable since this is a +100% resource upgrade that you can buy 20 of which are then used to acquire more levels. It spirals out of control quickly.

a way to move the resonance would be nice
it would be really cool if you (or claude, given you didn't even code this game) explained how the game worked. right now stuff is just happening??? as far as I can tell you just get one point every cycle and XP does nothing. I promise I'm not being dense on purpose.
you can click nodes you haven't even ""unlocked"" yet man. the game's raw. come back when you've cooked it for longer

i once asked claude to generate me an incremental game. i gave it no direction and it created something that looked fairly identical to this.
I like how I reached the 64 bit integer limit
ai can write some code, but it cannot create a game
It's visually pleasing, but the game itself sucks. Very boring. Make it so you work towards a prestige. It doesn't even make sense.
Pretty cool and short game, though the color difference between different levels of stained glass could definitely be more significant lol
Nice
hmm???? very repetitive. I am starting to dislike this.
Pinch to zoom is mentioned but touch controls do nothing at all. Completely unplayable
@ratjammer's comment about pinch to zoom not working is absolutely true. The game is unresponsive to any taps on mobile, and pinch does not work. The only button that did respond to taps was the Options button which gives me the reset game button.
Wish it wasn't gen-ai, it seems like a simple game that could be easily programmed without gen-ai
This is a very interesting game. I would rate it 8/10 for now but it would increase if you add export/import save
