good game
mailing people pipe bombs is certainly useful
but 20 mins, nice game but just putting all of your lines into features makes the game 10x easier

That ending with "(1) new message" is a clever way to make the bad ending.
fun game where you threateningly force young children to ask their parents to buy an overpriced website that lasts for about 10 seconds, interesting idea, and would definitely improve upon this

I finished this game. It's short and neat. I just wonder is it possible to have a sustainable startup running for relatively long, without completely relying on free AWS trial?
developer response: My strategy when balancing the game was to pump LoC into features early on and then go all-in on Monetization. I could usually make the startups last for a fair bit after the trial ended with that strategy.
Of course though, the game is balanced around never being able to have a permanently successful startup :)

I think I hit an accidental purgatory state? 80 lines of code, keep mailing out pipe bombs, and the money I make seems to consistently be outgrowing the AWS upkeep cost. I'm still missing the post-mortem and say no upgrades, possibly one or two more.
developer response: You need to make the startup fail in order to make the game progress. The ability to keep a startup going forever was actually a bug, but it's pretty silly considering the theme of the game (and I am incredibly lazy and do not want to fix it)
It would be nice if you could see how wisdom gain was determined as well to decide whether short runs or long runs are better
developer response: I believe the wisdom formula is shown to you in the modal upon having your first startup fail. Not sure if you can view the modal another time though
