@aib it might be due to the Mega Resurgence upgrade resetting your hyper upgrades. I was struggling to gain energy exponent in Unfortunate until I turned it off

if you dont understand energy gain then you get 1 base energy/s then your current base energy is exponentialized by your exponent displayed and you have it. or just see it from the info

Something's bugged. I can't even get 2k energy exponent in an Unfortunate run, even though my best is 20k and there's an achievement asking for 200k.

How does energy gain work exactly?

on stars use neutron stars u til u get enough, then use black hole.
