🎯 Stoke Catching Improvements
- stoke meter position changed to top right. It's also now closable. Surf screen has now a checkbox for turning stoke catching on and off for all surf sessions.
⚖️ Balancing
- slightly re-balanced stoke bubbles - +0.1 seconds for 4stoke bubble, -0.2s for 2stoke
- equipment - added hourly fees and higher initial costs for coaching, added sorting - highest subscriptions are now on top
- Skill level multiplier for all skills nerfed - it was growing exponentially too fast with surf level
- jobs have longer hourly requirement and some have lower pay
🐛 Bugfixes
- when you travel to new spot/location, your surf/work activity is now stopped
- re-added accidentally removed surf automation
- tabs formatting re-centered
- surf screen: removed small on:hover popups and added all explanations to the main Surf screen tooltip.
- fixed edge cases on Welcome back offline stoke calculations.
- reworded sponsorships - they are not passive incomes, you still need to show up and do some work for sponsors :)

- 🤙 Stoke - New currency generated offline and also by surfing and actively catching stoke bubbles. Stoke is used to speed up the game.
- ⏲️ Idle Gaming - Staying idle accumulates stoke, which you can use later for game speed-ups.
- 🎯 More Active Gaming - During surf sessions, you can catch stoke bubbles, accumulate combos, and significantly increase critical probability for maneuvers.
- 💳 Payment Gateway - Full game can now be purchased directly within the game (settings screen) for €2.50 (50% early access discount).

🖌️ UI Improvements
- Main Game Screen was redesigned to make activity buttons bigger and added quick equipment swap.
- Money and Energy now show income/consumption in real-time during different activities.
- Wave Animations have more realistic timing so they don't progress too quickly.
📚 Content
- Updated Story with improved narrative flow.
- All Chapters of the game available for players who activated early or paid for the full game.
- Side Quests - Changed some requirements and rewards. Side quests are now important to grow your stoke economy (limits, multipliers, and game speed).
⚖️ Balancing
- Wave Waiting Time is now more realistic - adjusted formula based mostly on the wave height.
- Economy Adjustments - Adjusted costs and hourly fees of some equipment.
0.3.2 release - chapter 3, competitions and more 0.3.2 February 11, 2025
**🚀 Release 0.3.2 is Live! **
This is quite a big release. Here’s what’s new:
** Competitions! 🏆 **(Unlocked in Mediterranean after completing main quest 1.4. You will need to skill up to surf level 3 to have a chance to win )
** Hazards & Injuries ⚠️**
Injuries and damages now deduct energy and money but occur less frequently.
Wave height increases the probability and severity of both injury and damage.
Fitness decreases the probability of injury.
** Cloud Login & Game Save ☁️**
You can now save your game in the cloud using Discord, Google, or Email.
After the full release, this will be the only save option.
** Full game activation -** The plan for a future game is to have a free demo (2 chapters) and paid full game. At the moment you can activate full game without payment as a thanks for your early support.
To activate the game you will need to use the cloud login which does not work in embedded deployments in iframe like on galaxy.click website. You will need to use the original page https://goat-surfer.netlify.app/ to progress to next chapters. Tip: You can export and import game save from settings page.

- Catch probability capped at 97% (instead of 100%). This ensures wipeouts still happen occasionally, making certain quests possible.
- Game Time Display Overhaul
No more confusion between full days and work days.
All income, energy regeneration, and recurring fees are now shown in hours.
Added a clear indicator of passing game time and game speed.
🎬 Surf Screen Tweaks
Removed horizontal animation for surf skills; only vertical wave animation remains.

Hey Surfers! It's time for a new Release 0.2.0
🎉 New Features
Automations: Work automation unlocks after completing the first chapter (retroactively enabled for eligible players). Additional automations unlockable in later chapters.
Equipment : Surfboards: Only the active surfboard affects multipliers, preventing stacking effects from all purchased boards. Housing: Pay daily rent for increased energy recovery and other perks. Other Equipment: Gyms, coaches, and subscriptions can now be purchased, reducing income but providing valuable benefits.
🐛 Bug Fixes Surf Page: Now paginated to improve performance with large numbers of waves. Tabs Memory: Tabs on Upgrades, Stats, and Skills are remembered after screen changes or game reloads. UI Improvements: Minor fixes for a smoother experience.
