GAME COMPLETE - 06/03/2026
The game is done!! Ok we have a fair bit to get through, strap in! Thanks so much for your support, and feel free to download the newest build of the game here or continue to play it in the browser, however you prefer!
I had previously said the game was complete, but since then I had felt the story was not complete. I mean, you reconquer your homeworld Miaplacidus, but then the game kinda left you hanging...Do you continue filling in the star map? What do you do now? Just ditch the game?
**This is solved. **
There is a whole new tab of content before that though. The COSMIC RIP tab will activate during the game now, and when it does, there is a lot of work to be done to finish the game, that runs outside of and independently to normal runs. You need to find the disturbance in space time that opened up and allowed the enemy to enter in the first place, and then stabilize it, secure it, and then close it forever, securing peace and tranquility for your people and truly ending the game.
After this section of the game is complete, the game now definitively ends and awards the 'Complete The Game' achievement. There are some other new features that slipped in too which will be explained below:
Cosmic Rip Chapter:
The final chapter is here! It gives the game a definitive ending, as well as a new currency to use throughout this chapter. I don't want to give anything away here as it is to discover.
New Achievements Added and Statistics Updated:
The Achievements have been updated (and the Statistics as well) to reflect the current state of the game and extra mechanics.
Full UI Rework:
The UI has been modernized and looks cleaner, and I introduced three new themes, Galaxy, Space and Supernova, as well as cleaning up your favorite themes and removing the Forest theme as it was no good.
Events:
I introduced random events that can come along at any time and either help or hinder your progress. There is a UI for Events in the Options Tab and it is positioned near to Statistics and Achievements, and shows current and previous events.
Galactic Casino:
Yet another new feature, the Galactic Casino gives players a chance to unwind while their resources build up. You buy in to it by trading cash or resources for CP (Casino Points) and these can only be used during the current run. There are multiple games to choose from to have fun and win prizes, the prizes can make your current run significantly easier, but there are no permanent prizes and CP are reset to 0 on rebirth.
Quality of Life - Info Points:
This is a good feature. Scattered around the game there are now info points ℹ️ that you can hover. There you will find answers to questions that are not immediately obvious from the Onboarding or the Help File (Cosmicopedia) - some of the inner workings of the game can be revealed here so take a look and explore them all.
Win Clues to Special Stars in the Galactic Casino! February 18, 2026
You can now win Clues to Ancient Manuscript Stars and O Type Stars in a new game called the Visiting VoidSeer in the Galactic Casino. Take a look!
This aims to help those that were struggling to catch the clues given in the News Ticker, and should hopefully make the game more fun and with more progression.
Additionally there are a lot of bug fixes reported by my latest Play Test - Please continue to report issues you find on my Discord so I can make the best game that I can.
Galactic Casino! February 11, 2026
A new UI in the Galactic tab unlocked at the same time as the Galactic Market now gives you ways to win prizes to reduce long timers for things like rocket journeys, and star studys, and also win resources, research points and cash, and also pass time waiting for that timer to finish. Its a nice UI with , all played with an in-casino currency called CP that you buy with your overstock of Resources and Compounds. Enjoy!!!
Cosmic Forge v1.0 January 27, 2026
The game is feature complete now, v1.0. It is really worth a play. The whole list of features can be found in the game's "Cosmicopedia" - But needless to say it is a playable game now rather than a concept.
