An incremental game about Galaxy Conquest, starting from a few Hydrogen Atoms!

You will collect atoms, sell them, build Research collectors, Research Techs, Discover Asteroids, Travel to them to mine Antimatter, and Eventually Conquer the Galaxy!

More or less an active game, but there is an off line gains mechanic if you want to save up resources over night.

Each run is pretty linear and the end goal is to conquer the Star Map. Still under development but you can already do a complete run, rebirth, and add perks to speed up future runs. There is a help section in the game, and it has cloud saving.

Enjoy!

Unfortunatly the game breaks on chrome after a day or two and exporting the save doesn't always work properly. I keep loosing progression. I'm sorry, but until the save issue has been fixed I'll have to stop playing :(. But I linke the game.

developer response: Sorry, I imagine it is due to this game being played on exactly the same server as where I am pushing changes every day. Nothing is breaking but if a change is pushed while you are playing it can change things. I always recommend to play with autosave on which protects your save on the cloud every few minutes, and reloading a save from there should never fail. If you want a stable version, best to play on itch:

love the game, sadly i had to refresh the page and lost my save ;( the beginning is a little bit slow, when you update the game i'll try again

developer response: activate auto save and it will save to cloud and this definitely works at the moment.

Turning on my energy production cuts my carbon gain from +66 per second to +57 per second, yet I'm actively losing carbon.

developer response: interesting. Sounds like a bug, perhaps you could come to the discord and pass me your save name and i will see if there is a calculation issue.

I´m in the same boat es Patriot. i sent my Fleet to a Planet and after a battle now it just says Orbiting... I thought i could sent it again to other Planets to gain more Ap for visiting them but yeah it seems to be stuck there now until i Rebirth ?
I´m going to grind Ressources now but i wonder how much 20-30AP needs because everthing i currently have is only 1 AP if i were to liquidate (maybe a progress bar to the next AP point?)
Maybe put some more info on which Ressources are worth more AP or if Cash/Compounds are better.

developer response: No. You can conquer a max of one system per run. When you have conquered the System that is your cue to prepare for rebirth, the only thing left to wait for is to get as many resources as you want to liquidate to AP before you do it, then it starts again, with whatever Ascendency Perks you buy, and the new System rules like weather etc, and your Star Map is updated.

I may look in to the progress bar ap point thing you suggested, that would be cool, but as a guideline the combined value of resources, compounds (both of whose values are the value you can sell 1 unit for) and (cash/10) needs to equate to 1M to get a single AP point this way. Still in the balancing phase yet, you would be the second player I am aware of to get this far along, so I would also be interested to hear how you go. The first one was able to see 4 AP points after his run but said it would not be much of a wait to grind to 15 or so, so lets see your feedback and I will maybe tweak the values a bit.

The intention was for the player to accumulate approx 20 AP on the first run by grinding and liquidating, plus achievements (on the way) plus AP for star (doubled for battle victory rather than unsentient etc)

I've been at the late stage a while. I made the mistake of going to the nearest planet and got 1 AP. So now I'm trying to grind resources to get some more AP because I learned you are meant to resurrect on the new planet. Unless there is new research or something going through the grind to get the starship built doesn't feel worth it without having something to spend the AP on. So aside from that I would recommend having something you can spend that 1 AP on so players feel accomplished. Grant it, perhaps if I just reincarnated I would see something different, but my experience is that "mistake" is causing me hesitancy.

developer response: You can liquidate all your resources for AP once per run, so its very attainable to do this after conquering the system and grinding your resources for a bit before rebirth and get 20-30AP on your first run.

Thanks for playing to this point, I have to admit you are the first player I am aware of that has done this, and so the content isnt fully fleshed out beyond this point and the balancing could be off, as I am relying on feedback. Feel free to drop by in my Discord and chat about your experience, it would be worthwhile, and congratulations for reaching this point.

I am working on achievements at the moment which will also feed some AP into the mix even on the first run, as well as muliple opportunities to multiply resource collection and reduce compound cost, so more rebalancing will be needed after this is done, but hopefully more fun. Looking forward to hearing your experience.

Definitely trouble with autosave. Played for a bit, turned it off for an hour, got back to discover that i'm back to having just 600 hydrogen. Sooo, like hour of playing at least gone, i guess.

developer response: I have migrated user data to another provider for the save cloud.
It works now, but if any save data is lost, please let me know, but it should be pretty smooth.
This provider also has limits, so may stop working in the future, where I will have to
look at paid options. I would appreciate feedback.

use manual export / import. auto save doesn't work well.

At least on galaxy in particular, I imagine you could use the built-in cloud saving API? Though it might be a bit of a hassle to integrate it alongside firebase, not sure: https://galaxy.click/docs/dev/features/saving

the game randomly just bugs out and freezes everything on me. i become unable to load a cloud save either. it just acts as a soft lock that i have to fully restart. Honestly this game has so much potential and i love it. just wish it wouldnt just glitch out on me randomly.

I don't really like this one, sorry. UI is awkward and what you need to click and buy isn't 100% apparent.

developer response: sorry to hear - there is a 'CosmicoPedia' in the Settings tab which gives a bit of guidance. I will try to improve the UI going forward.
