Hey Everyone!
We are working super hard on the full version of the game currently and would love to share some development updates & Teasers.
First of all some information on what we are planning for the full game to have content wise.
The game will have 5 new levels in total (some of you might have already seen this in the level select by scrolling down). The environments and monsters for all these levels are already done and we're currently working on getting all the bosses along with their new mechanics ready.
We'll be sharing 2 of our new levels and 1 new boss today.
Level 4A - The Deep Forest along with its new boss The Deadwood Ent:
Level 4B - The Deep Sea this time with enemies:
We also found some bugs that needed fixing and made a small patch to the game today as well.

We've been hard at work on the full version of the game and some bugs came to our attention.

Fixed a bug where critical damage was not being applied properly to bosses

Fixed a bug that would cause weirdness when dying at the same time as the boss

Fixed a bug where the boss could die from other sources while the player is already dead(causing various other issues as a consequence)

Major Update #3 - Patch #1
Hello Everyone!
First of all, a huge thanks to everyone for playing. We had a huge amount of extra players with this update, nearly doubling our wishlists!
We just released the first patch for Major Update #3.
We added 3 new skins, but focused mostly on addressing feedback, balancing, and fixing minor bugs.

Patch Notes
- Added 14 achievements to the Steam version
- Added 3 new skins
- After defeating the final boss, you no longer have to go back to the main menu if you want to continue playing
- Added an option in the settings to increase monster visibility
- This darkens the background and all background elements (including giblets and effects) significantly to make monsters more clear
- You can now see your experience and experience to next level in the character tab
- We heard everyone's feedback about the Training Dummy (way too strong)
- All damage done through the Training Dummy now has 50% effectiveness
- Healing from hitting the Training Dummy is also 50% effective
- Reduced Ghost Hammer chance overall slightly
- Health On Hit has been buffed across the board
- This includes upgrades and the hammer
- Added some minor missing UI SFX
- Slightly improved atmosphere in the beach level
- Improved coin performance
- Adjusted some boss upgrade values
- Fixed visual artifacts that sometimes occurred when hitting monsters
Also a huge thanks to everyone who took the effort to send feedback and report bugs to us — this helps us out a ton!

Major Update #3 - The Gear Update 0.04f May 9, 2026
Deadwater Beach, Gear System, Ghost Hammer Mechanics & many improvements
Hello Everyone!
Major update #3 has just gone live!
First of all for everyone who has played before, we really recommend resetting your save file for the best experience with this update!
Gear System
We really wanted to have players be able to adjust their playstyles a bit somehow, so we decided to add a Gear System.
The Gear System will allow you to select from multiple gear pieces after defeating a boss. These give you powerful playstyle specific bonusses. You can equip up to 4 of these in total.
New Level - Deadwater Beach
We added a beach level. We had to do some interesting stuff for it this time, adding water tiles with a water effect when monsters are on these tiles. Our art pack also didn't include tiles for a beach so we had to art these up ourselves, including the animated water shoreline.
This level also includes a new boss with a new mechanic! It's our favourite so far!
Ghost Hammers
Ghost Hammers are a new type of mechanic which you can get both from upgrades, weapons and gear. You have a chance to hit random enemies with a ghost hammer when attacking. These hammer also copy your on hit effects, so a ghost hammer with a column hammer equipped will also attack in a column for example!
More Bug Fixes and Improvements
We also took a look at some other things for this update. Improving stuff visually and fixing bugs all over the place.

We've just published the second patch for the poison update
It fixes some bugs and has a slight rebalance in there for the weapons

Poison Update Patch #1 V0.3.1 April 4, 2026
Hey everyone!
First of all an !IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ALL WEB PLAYERS! Unfortunately our save system wasn't prepared for handling web saves previously. What this meant was that every time we uploaded a new version to Itch the web saves got wiped. This update addresses this issue as well. Unfortunately however it will mean progress on web will be lost one last time with this patch. Thanks for your understanding everyone. We just released Patch #1 for the poison update
It's a small update containing a bit of content, some improvements after all the feedback we have been getting & a new teaser!

Major Update #2 - The Poison Update March 29, 2026
Hello Everyone!
Major Update #2 has just gone live!
We spent a lot of time debating the idea of adding some horizontal progression as well and we decided to just do it!
New level: Toxic Mire
The new level included in this update is called: Level 2B - The Toxic Mire, it can be played once you complete level 1.
It contains 4 new enemies and a new boss. This level is a valid route to level 3 just like level 2A - The Forgotten Dungeon (Previously Level 2)
Character Tab & Skins
We also had a lot of requests for a stat overview and decided to put this into a character tab. The Character tab also allows you to select other skins for your character. Some of these skins are unlocked by default and some you have to unlock.
Poison Mechanic
We also have a new mechanic: Poisonous enemies & poison. When the mechanic is unlocked there will be a chance for poisonous enemies to spawn. These enemies will spread poison to other enemies upon killing them. Poison will do damage over time, slow enemies and with some upgrades, even amplify damage from other sources.
We also spent some time bug fixing and doing some minor improvements like updating some upgrade descriptions and adding minor visual changes here and there.

Armory Revamp - Minor Update March 9, 2026

Armory Revamp - Minor Update
Hey everyone, Thanks a lot for playing the new update! We've received a lot of feedback for the Armory and noticed it just wasn't working well enough in it's current state. That's why we decided to revamp it.
This includes a complete rebalance of all the stat upgrades for the weapons (upgrades are waaay stronger now) and a new currency dropped from mimics that you can upgrade your weapons with. We've also improved the level select and added a teaser for the upcoming major update. For more details here's the patch notes!
Patch Notes
- Armory now has separate currency dropped from Mimics
- Armory Upgrades are now significantly stronger
- To go along with this we improved the chance for mimic spawns a lot as well
- Improved Level Select menu
- All Coin Gain upgrades are now named Coin Value for more clarity on what does.
- Changed currency sprites for more clarity
Upcoming Changes
- Pause Menu allowing you to pause during your run and terminate it early as well
- Juice up the new level select menu to make it look even better!

Hello Everyone!
After a lot of hard work we are finally done with the big update!
The Cursed Grove
Level 3 - The Cursed Grove. With 4 new enemies and a new boss.
The Armory
A place to view and upgrade your weapons. We have also added new weapons, some are only dropped from monsters when you're lucky!
New Upgrades
We have added new upgrades including our new favourite upgrade in the game, Lightning!
Other than that there's tons of bug fixes and minor improvements & balance changes we have made as well.

Patch #2 January 31, 2026
Added a proper Tutorial to fix early-game confusion + improved starting flow. Also includes Resolution Support and critical bug fixes.
Patch notes:
Added a Tutorial when you first start the game to help people understand the mechanics of the game better
There is now support for multiple resolutions in the settings menu
Made the bat enemy in the second level a shade lighter to improve visibility/reduce eye strain
Improved the starting flow
Fixed a bug where going to the main menu from the end screen would not grant you resources from your previous run
Small Performance improvements
