i guess this game existed before galaxy stopped allowing scratch games cuz when i tried to submit a badly made scratch game i made as a joke it didn’t allow it cuz most scratch submissions are low quality

it alright:

- just like every other scratch game on the site, this is the obligatory "please do not use scratch" complaint. it looks like you used a scratch-to-html converter, and looking at the source code for this is, uh, a jungle. I encourage you to learn javascript

- the starting screen was a bit buggy, the gamejolt thing didn't go away when the game started.

- buying the win token didn't display a (BOUGHT) below the description.

- upgrade descriptions have unknown-ascii-squares before each newline, I think there's a formatting problem there.

- having every item in the shop's hitbox be the literal picture itself was a bit jarring, I thought it was just buggy at first when I moved my mouse to the fork but the description didn't come up and clicking didn't buy it. instead, it was just because my mouse happened to be positioned between the prongs, so I had to carefully position my mouse inside the fork so that it would work properly. not sure if this is an intentional decision or not, but I think it would work better if the hitboxes were solid squares instead.

- I DO like how this game looks, even if it's mostly BFDI assets anyway. stuff like the challenges screen where the whole thing looks like it's in a physical environment is pretty neat. it's definitely more inventive than plain buttons on white, at least.

- numbers need some sort of formatting, the bfbucks counter gets cut off at high values (which I assume is why there's an "OoMs counter", it should really just be in sci notation), items in the shop have their first value in sci notation but then swap to long-form after you buy them (it's difficult to know if I can afford an upgrade that costs "1530000000000" with 14 OoMs), and most of the stats numbers have a hundred decimal places that aren't important (a "3.519x boost" would be much cleaner than a "3.51923328910409281204x boost")

- the UI bar at the top can intrude upon the sacrifice and challenges screens, hiding text, which is bad. additionally, the red text color for the BFBuck overflow can sometimes be a bit hard to see

- balancing is alright so far, I don't have too much to complain about there.

the first thirty seconds of playing gave me a bit of a bad impression, but this honestly isn't too bad of a game. it just needs a little bit of polish. I'd probably give a 2.5/5 if I could, unfortunately going to round that down to a 2/5 for now because it's a little rusty around the edges and there's not too much content. but I can see potential here, I'd like to see where this goes.

developer response: I haven't been working on this game for a while, ill try to roll out most of the issues described but some are just problems of the scratch engine, for example the square thingies are the ascii symbol for line break, as scratch doesnt have line break functionality, i do know basic javascript (technically just html but i can decrypt javascript through my own logic), but not to the point where id be able to create this.
TL;DR
ill push a qol and rework update when possible and actually revive the games development hopefully (aaa text wall)
