description


A custom 'The Prestige Tree' game, which focuses on getting many points to become the best! In v4.1, the endgame is over e1Sp Point Fragments. Explore 12 layers with rather short timewalls per upgrade! There is also a minigame.
THE MINIGAME (Secret Achievement Layer) IS OPTIONAL BUT IT CONTAINS DAYS OF CONTENT. BEWARE OF HOUR LONG TIMEWALLS THAT YOU HAVE TO SPAM A BUTTON.
The RNG Layer is going to be progressively easier every update (though I don’t think I will be releasing much more) and features 25 RNG Milestones and 5 Luck Buyables. Also, completely optional. Beware that luck may not be on your side.

In the Discord, you will also find solutions to Mastery Challenge 1 (first part) and all minigame achievements

If you have lost your save due to the githack purge, go to https://raw.githack.com/p-u/The-Point-Tree/point/index.html
Then export your save from there and import from the new game link.
Thus, your saves may need to be recovered from the original.

Minigame section of The Point Tree
Completely optional! Proceed if you want extra content. Will not abide with the <3min waits rule.

Minigame Achievements are classified into 4 subsections,
Joke number/Funny numbers (This will only occur in Row 1 achievements) [FN]
Strategic manipulation (Requires using different operations to get the result, may include exponent/+1 at spots [S]
Spamming (highest number requires long waits, up to 2hrs, progressively longer as you get further). This requires you to spam highest multiplier/exponent/spam a certain button [W]

And 4 parts.
Part 1: Rows 1-3
Part 2: Row 4
Part 3: Row 5
Part 4: Row 6

There is an order to get these achievements.

Recommended order:
Ach 11-13/14 -> Ach 21-26 -> Ach 31-33 -> Ach 14/15-16 -> Ach 34, 35 -> Ach 41-46, 51-56, 61-66, 71-76

M11 [FN]: Get exactly 69, by pressing ‘x2’ 6 times then ‘+1’ 5 times
M12 [FN]: Get exactly 1337, by pressing ‘x2’ 6 times, then ‘+1’ 19 times, then ‘x2’ 4 times, then ‘+1’ 9 times
M13 [FN]: Get exactly 69420, by pressing ‘x2’ 8 times, then ‘+1’ 15 times, then ‘x2’ 8 times, then ‘+1’ 44 times
M21-26 [W]: Spam highest mult
M31 [S]: Click ‘x3’ 4 times, then ‘/2’ 7 times.

4.You’ll get 314 159 265 358 979. Click ‘/10’ 14 times

These should take about 1.5-2 hours

I think early Mega is too spaced out, too much grinding. There's nothing new in 4 layers, so stretching it out makes no sense, just makes people bored with the game. You gotta add something different, because if you're just doing milestones and upgrades, your game doesn't stand out at all. It's very linear and very simple.

The pacing for the first 3 layers is pretty good, keeps you fairly engaged... but its just the same old stuff over and over. Buy this upgrade or this row, then move on. There's nothing "unique" amongst the mechanics, there's nothing really engaging and there are timewalls present all throughout - albeit those timewalls aren't all that bad... until the energy layer. I also noticed that when you unlock "row 5" upgrades, it should ACTUALLY say "column 5", since some layers already have 5 or more rows, but none of them have more than 4 columns ;)

Okay so it tells you to do the mastery challenge in order to proceed, then it gives you an exact procedure for avoiding an apparent softlock. Except following the exact procedure didn't come close to getting the required milestone, leaving the challenge to try again disables the mastery tab and starts me over on 0 progress. Welp. GG. Why build soft locks into the game in the first place?
