ABOUT THIS GAME
All Hail The Orb is a pixel-art incremental clicker about powering a mysterious orb, growing a cult, watching automation slowly take over....and DUCKS!
You start by clicking the Orb to generate power, then recruit cultists to handle the boring work for you.
As your cult grows you’ll unlock new systems, automate progression and steadily expand, all without fail states or over-complicated mechanics.
Designed as a short but enjoyable experience, All Hail The Orb focuses on rewarding progression and light-hearted humour.
Grow Your Cult
Recruit and manage cultists who help power the Orb and automate your progress. What begins as manual clicking gradually transforms into a self-sustaining system with cultists taking over the heavy lifting while you focus on unlocking new features and exploring more rooms.
Automation becomes the core of progression, while clicking remains needed for interacting with specific systems and mechanics.
Explore the Dungeon
Progress through an old dungeon that acts as the backbone of the game.
There is no combat or failure, so exploration is entirely about unlocking new rooms, systems, and features.
Each discovery expands what your cult can do and pushes the Orb closer to its true potential.
Relaxed Gameplay
All Hail The Orb is built to be calm and approachable.
There are no fail states, punishments, or irreversible mistakes.
Progress at your own pace, experiment freely, and enjoy a relaxed incremental experience designed to be completed rather than played endlessly.
Light-hearted and Quirky
The game embraces a fun, silly tone with playful visuals and humour that never takes itself too seriously.
Strange themes, mysterious elements, and recurring visuals help keep things interesting without drifting into dark or serious territory.
And yes....there are ducks.
Many, many ducks.

answer it
developer response: It does indeed!
developer response: AHHHH I'M TRYING :P
developer response: Full game will be about 3-5 hours. And be a lot more in depth
developer response: I occassionally pop back in here to read comments and this made me smile, so thank you :)
Also, does the puzzle only exist for the sake of the gag?
developer response: Brute force and it won't be a gag in the full game :D but for the sake of the Next Fest it'll 100% be a gag :)

dragging little creatures around is a major pita, maybe make them walk to the bed and back to work slowly?
developer response: Yeah I've been mulling it over for days XD I like the idea of assigning a cultist where to work and they make their way over, gunna be a nightmare tho ;) but it would be so much better, with the ability to still pick them up and drop them, but the idea you assign them somewhere and they handle themselves sounds like fun
That's neat that it recognizes that people might get carpel tunnel so it does get a limit of 10 per second.
developer response: Ahaaa XD It's for balancing reasons. I have no objection to autoclickers. I use them, my fingers get tired, but what I don't want are people to just speed through the game at a pace it wasn't designed for. But I wanted a funny interaction for it :D Someone got angry at me for it in an earlier comment :'D
developer response: Ahaa thanks, I need to make it unskippable when detected since people can click through it lightning quick. But I really enjoy little things like this :)
developer response: Nooooooo XD No idea how that's happened but will add a thing to call back all your cultists :)
This way it'd be easy to manage them :D
developer response: Might add a skip button to any text that is not telling you something you can't figure out easilly
