developer response: The way that the game knows you clicked the right food is when the number shown + the current hunger adds up to 100. Essentially, if theres 2 or more options with the same number, those options wont trigger the jumpscare.
developer response: how the hell did i forget to do that, im gonna make a news ticker to tell the goal. thanks for letting me know about this oversight!

Ok so i beat everything in the game (i think) so:
I really like the choice to make it look like a browser, and overall the visuals are a big step up from the first.
However the gameplay is not great imo. Having only 1 threat and 3 distractions where all 4 of them are reactive just doesn't work in my opinion. It causes the game to be very rng heavy and have long stretches of time where nothing happens and the only thing you can do is stare at the cookies go up so you can buy the next producer. While in an actual horror game that feeling can be mitigated with tension, a more chill vibe this game goes for causes those times to just be boring. I believe FNAF style sit and survive games require a threat that can be dealt with more proactively (for example FNAF 1 Foxy or Freddy who you can slow down or even stop from attacking entirely if you're good enough) or a music-box like mechanic (for example the FNAF 2 Marionette [duh], FNAF 4 Foxy, or several of the mechanics in the first FVaaI like: power, heat, radiation, toxic gas). Though the latter is easier to create it usually is the less interesting option than the former. I have no clue how that could be integrated with the current gameplay loop but it's something to keep in mind for the future.
Alright on to the bugs. Not much here i only encountered 2:
1. This is more of an oversight than a bug but sometimes both ads and wifi happen and once and the ads appear on the button that turns on the wifi blocking it and since ads can't be closed when the wifi is out it just kills an attempt. Maybe to fix it the wifi menu could appear over the ads or something.
2.Ok this is funny on my first time playing night 3. I died right at the end (I just messed up the map) and then on the "jumpscare" screen i won lol.
Also I'm not sure if it's intentional or not but a lot of the threats seem to be on the same timer kinda? They often activate a few at once. Most commonly i have noticed wifi and hunger which activated together like 40% of the time if i had to guess. I don't really have an opinion on that but something i noticed.
TLDR: Visually a massive improvement. But i think that the gameplay loop doesn't really work that well.
Now don't get discouraged I think you have a lot of potential. Your artstyle is very charming and I believe you can do some amazing things in the future. I believe in You. :)
Thanks for reading! Can you tell I'm kinda passionate about this stuff lol?
developer response: Cool to see you here! You're probably the most passionate person for the fvaai series lol. 1. Godots button systems are hell to learn i do NOT know how to fix that but ill try my best. 2. In the original fnaf series i think that sometimes you can get jumpscared and win at the same time which is why i allowed you to win even during the jumpscare. 3. for fvaai 3 i havent thought about it much but i'll get on it some time after vacation. oh almost frogot, i had to edit this 4. for the distractions and threats being very close together, im going to try and fix that abit aswell as adding more tension!
I still like this as an internet toy but not that much of an incremental game
developer response: there are things that should happen after a period of time but they are chance based so maybe you just got really lucky? i dont really know how this could happen.
again
developer response: kinda
